This page is a blend of both personal & professional, so I wanted to drop a little intro in here for those stopping by that are curious about my role as the owner of @merakiroomchicago / @davinesnorthamerica Grow Business Coach

Currently I am juggling a new salon build out alongside my much smarter than me business partner @danimclaren , seeing more clients per week than expected sometimes (which honestly as an extrovert: this is my favorite gig. I always say that I’m basically having coffee dates with my pals all day- and then they leave with fresh hair”), traveling around the Midwest teaching salons & beauty schools how to level up their professionalism & understand the importance of sustainable business practices, lifting heavy stuff at @rockwellbarbell, trying to ride my bike as much as I can & be a newly wed to my kind, brilliant & gorgeous husband @zach___rivera .. (who is also a small business owner here in Chicago @moonflowerbar & @goldenyearschi are his amazing bars.. check them out 😉)

I’m aggressively passionate about growth & overall wellbeing and I still love making my clients look and feel beautiful after 20+ years in the industry. I’m proud of the team we have at Meraki Room & so excited for what is in store for each and every one of their careers in this next chapter ahead.

To say I am happy is just the beginning. In my vows to Zach that day I described how I had envisioned that moment from the very start. Weeks into knowing Zach I would get flashes of what I could say to him in my vows. August 8th 2025 I got to tell him all about it in front of a small group of people that are very special to us. He sang a song to me that was inspired by the journal entry he wrote the night of our first date. Somehow we both knew very early that this would be our fate. The weekend was magical, our friends and family coming together was beyond anything that we expected & we are both so full of gratitude for the way our lives have gotten exponentially better since we met one another. Huge thanks to everyone involved. These photos are from night 1 of our wedding celebrations, so stay tuned for night 2 soon!

Happy 1 year anniversary to the love of my life.. here’s a few silly snaps from our weekend together unwinding and reconnecting after a very busy year.

My dad texted @zach___rivera yesterday saying “happy anniversary & thanks for bringing my daughter peace”.. and tbh that sums it up. I’m just really happy and grateful 🤍
