HE’S RISEN!!!!! just as He said
As I awakened this morning to glimmers of light cutting through the clouds, the first thing that came to my mind was the women coming to the tomb with their spices. The Mary’s, who had stayed at the cross to the end. The first to be at the tomb that resurrection day. And even after talking to the angels Mary Magdalene wouldn’t leave the open tomb crying for Jesus. What devotion! As a being approached her thinking it was a gardener she cried to him, “where have you taken Him?”
And all Jesus had to say was her name. “Mary!!!”
And immediately she recognized His voice.
I pray for that kind of devotion.
And that I will always hear and recognize His voice.
