February project ✨The lake bedroom, the place we spend most of our weekends during the summer is finally done. I just wanted to give it a little extra love.I made the fish pillow, a lumbar pillow, and the Roman shades using the same fabric, added a few thrifted pieces to bring in that cozy, collected feel, and finished it off with a comfy comforter for those long summer days when we end up completely exhausted in bed.There’s something so special about creating things yourself, you get to make everything flow together so effortlessly. And as a true matchy-matchy lover, that makes my heart very happy 🤍 by @dianaycrutchfield

The biggest change here wasn’t just the furniture, it was the shift from cool tones to warmer, deeper tones. Cool tones can sometimes make a space feel a bit flat or less inviting, while warmer tones naturally bring in a sense of comfort and coziness.I know darker colors can feel a little intimidating, but they can actually make a room feel more intimate and “homey” when paired with the right lighting. Natural light, warm bulbs, and layered textures make all the difference.At the end of the day, it really comes down to balance cool tones can feel fresh and airy, while warm tones create depth and warmth. For this space, going darker and warmer made it feel so much more like home 🤍 by @dianaycrutchfield

Sherwin-Williams is always my go-to when it comes to paint, and these are the colors that ended up being perfect for our home. I love muted tones because they bring so much warmth and softness to a space.It’s always amazing to see how different a color can look from the swatch to the final result on the wall.
