Another year around the sun, and we’ve arrived at 31 🎈

This year, I’m learning that nothing is permanent, nothing is promised, and life will never unfold entirely according to our plans. As much as we wish we could hold on to the people, places, and moments that make life beautiful, part of being alive is knowing that none of it is ours to keep forever. And perhaps that’s where the beauty lies… in the impermanence. In knowing that moments are precious because they pass, that love is profound because our time together is limited, and that even the most ordinary days can become the memories we would give anything to relive. We can plan, but the universe has its own way of guiding us. So I’m learning to surrender to the unknown, to trust the paths I cannot yet understand, to embrace what comes, and to be grateful for what is here, while it is here. Because maybe the point isn’t to make life last forever, but to be fully present for the beautiful, fleeting privilege of experiencing it at all. by @diankapours

The mica queen may have finally met her match 😏

Walking into Pigment Tokyo felt like stepping into a dream. Walls overflowing with mica powders in every color imaginable. So much inspiration, so much creativity, and honestly… sensory overload in the best way possible.

Moments like this remind me why I started creating in the first place. One day, I dream of Dianka Pours having a storefront just as magical and vast. Until then, we keep growing, keep creating, and keep expanding one sparkle at a time

Absolutely unreal.

Like a kid in a candy store… but way better.

While exploring Tokyo, Japan, I stumbled across a store filled with thousands of mica pigment powders. My eyes couldn’t believe what they were seeing as the glowing rainbow colors spilled out from the window of the storefront. I don’t think I could’ve run inside any faster 🤣 we practically had to pick my jaw up off the floor. What an unreal find!

It’s not about being good at it
It’s about not being able to ignore it

The urge to make, to read, to feel something fully… that’s the most human thing there is ✨

Resin doesn’t follow a script. It moves, resists, surprises. Some pours come together in one flow, others ask you to start again… and again. You shift, you adjust, you listen. It’s less control, more conversation.

Every geode is a dance. Sometimes messy, sometimes magic, always teaching you something new. It’s what I love most about this art form. There are so many endless discoveries waiting around the corner. by @diankapours
