A little something we’ve been working on behind the scenes… 🌿🤍

Welcome to Little Quran Club, a monthly mail club created to help introduce little Muslims to Arabic and Qur’an in a fun environment before they start any sort of official Islamic education, like maktab/madressah.

As parents ourselves, we wanted to create something that made learning feel less like a lesson and more like something exciting they could look forward to receiving in the post ✉️

Each month, little ones will receive their very own letter and activity pack, with a new arabic word every month, colouring activities, themed stickers, a letter directly addressed to them and more; all designed to make those small moments of learning feel special.

And this is just the beginning… 🥹

We’re so excited to finally share Little Quran Club with you. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few days as we prepare to open for preorders 👀

invite 💌 I had the loveliest evening with @the.rougestudio making my very own candle (watch the video to see which scent combination I picked bc it smelt DIVINE!)

You can book the luxury candle making workshop through their website or Instagram, this one was held at the gorgeous @hisashicoffee where I had a delish ube matcha and warm cinnamon bun.

The most fun experience ever and I got to meet so many lovely girlies! 💗

ad | Last year @lumoscurtains sent me Cat Proof Sheers which were very literally life changing as a Bengal cat owner, and now I’ve finally completed the look with custom Herringbone curtains from their curtain range!

The autumn special at @earlybeescoffee features a Salted Toffee Latte/Matcha and it was DELICOUS! They also have organic honey on tap in case you want to add it into your lattes 👀

We also had a pistachio pastry and a pecan iced cinnamon bun, both delicious and perfectly baked. I did try the mini honey cheddar sandwich but the sourdough was a bit tough for me, and the halal truffle turkey sandwich from bread&truffle wasn’t my thing either.

I’d go back JUST for that salted toffee latte though 🤌🏻🍁🤎

invite 💌 I took my mum for brunch at @caffeconcertouk in Stratford Westfield (halal btw 👀) and here’s everything we ate and my honest ratings;

- Eggs Florentine: 8/10 (my mum had it with turkey bacon instead of smoked salmon hence the 8 😂)
- Full English: 10/10! The spices potatoes and seasoned mushrooms were sooooo good!

- Honey Vanilla Oat Latte: 8/10, I prefer a little less sweetness to my lattes but it was a lovely sweet treat. Honey was very prominent!
- Chocolate Straciatella: 7/10, my mum really loved it but it wasn’t for me - very chocolatey but I don’t really like froyos/yoghurt so I knew it wouldn’t be my vibe

- Chocolate Mousse: 10/10. I’d give it a 1000/10 if I could. The mousse was so light and air and topped with this delicious chocolate lager I could have eaten 30
- Tiramisu: 10/10! The top layer was this delicious melt-in-your-mouth chocolate and the coffee was so prominent. The cream wasn’t too sweet and complemented the coffee and chocolate perfectly.
- San Sebastián Cheesecake: 6/10, I didn’t like how hazelnutty the chocolate sauce was and the actual cake could have been a little creamier but that’s just a preference thing
- Carrot Cake: 6/10, the frosting was so delicious but the cake was slightly dry
- Apricot Tart: 9/10, genuinely loved this so much , especially the custard filling!

This is your sign not to get put off by one bad trip! I went and tried again a week later and it went so much better 🤭

Taking a baby out alone on public transport can be so daunting but just remember to check for step-free stations (use the Mumderground app!) and stay close by to stations you know for your first trip 🩵
