2017 — ♾️

You were there for the good days, the bad ones, the crazy ones, the quiet ones. You were there as we grew, changed, celebrated, struggled, fell in love, got our hearts broken and found our way through life.

You were there through so many of the family's milestones and ups and downs. Through our best moments and some of our hardest ones. And through it all, you were our constant.

For us, you weren't just a dog. You were family. You were a brother. You were a little piece of happiness that was always there waiting for us.

And then there were all the little things that made you you 😜

Your love for Balehannu and eggs. Your absolute obsession with getting a back massage. That game where you would grab the belt with your teeth and pull with all your might. Jumping on the sofa like you owned the damn thing and demanding attention. And, of course, that ultimate Thumka-level walking style that nobody could ever forget😂🤍

You had this incredible way of getting attached to people and making them feel like they were your people. And watching you build that bond with everyone was nothing short of magical. 🎇

There are so many people who loved you, cared for you and had a special place for you in their hearts. A very, very long list of people who are going to miss you terribly.

We wish we had more time. More walks. More cuddles. More stupid pictures. More sofa takeovers. More of your crazy little habits that we probably took for granted.

Thank you for 9 beautiful years, Whiskey. Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for loving us exactly as we were.

You were, and always will be, one of the best things that ever happened to us.

We found this little café in ISRO Layout, and it turned out to be such a lovely find ☕️❤️

@paperfiltercafe is small, cozy and has a lovely South Bengaluru feel. The kind of place that makes you want to slow down for a bit.

They use 100% Arabica beans, and you can genuinely taste the experience and care the barista puts into every cup.

We tried two drinks.

The BomBon is a cold coffee with a double shot of espresso, and it was honestly SO good. Easily one of the best cold coffees we’ve had in a while.

Then came the Zesty Orange Pour Over.

We’ve tried coffee + orange juice a few times before. Somehow, the orange always ends up taking over.
But here, for the first time, it actually felt balanced. You could taste the coffee. You could taste the orange. Neither one overpowered the other.

What made the visit even nicer were Shruthi and Santosh. They were so warm and welcoming which enhaced the whole experience all together💫

Somewhere between the two coffees and the conversations, we realised this was one of those places we’d happily come back to.

Not gatekeeping this one. Had to share it as a personal recommendation❤️
