For the first time ever I have found a printing error in a book!!
This book is What’s a Ghoul to Do? By Victoria Laurie and I purchased it from my local Half Price Books. Imagine my surprise when on page 54, all of the sudden next I see is page 21 of The Ghost and the Dead Man’s Library by Alice Kimberly! My intended book picks back up on page 87 after 31 pages of this random book. Which means I’m missing 33 pages of my book replaced by 31 pages of this surprise book by Kimberly!
Both my intended book and the misprint are published by Penguin Publishing group in 2007 and 2006 respectively. Both books are paranormal- my intended being a paranormal romance and my surprise book being a paranormal mystery.
Now, this misprinted mass market paperback has absolutely no value as a rare misprint but it is now one of my favorites in my collection and will hold a special place on my bookshelf.
I love Half Price Books. Now in my collection I have 3 signed editions and a rare misprint all purchased for at normal thrift prices (for example this book was $2).
