The house is only part of the story.

Stonecreek was designed to feel completely private, set within a beautiful wooded landscape and surrounded by nature.

But what I love just as much is what life looks like once you leave the driveway.

Coffee in town. A hike before lunch. Really good restaurants. Live music at Levon Helm. Pilates, yoga, saunas and wellness minutes away. Farmers markets, swimming, tennis, golf, galleries, shops and the kind of community that makes Woodstock feel like home very quickly.

And when you want more, Kingston and Saugerties are right there.

So we created Life at Stonecreek, a guide to what it actually feels like to live here, from our favorite places for breakfast and dinner to trails, wellness, music, shopping, everyday essentials and some of the things we love most about Woodstock.

Because buying a home like this isn’t just about the house.

It’s about the life that comes with it.

Comment STONECREEK and I’ll send you the full guide + listing details.

Stonecreek resists the impulse to make its strongest statement at the front door. Like a composition that builds toward its crescendo, the architecture reveals itself gradually, through shifting perspectives, changing light, and a sequence of spaces that deepen with experience. Now for Sale in Woodstock NY.

Some projects you don’t get an opportunity to capture with a professional photo shoot, and all you have remaining are some iPhone shots you take when you are on site. This project was a few years ago and it was never able to be captured properly. At least half the projects I work on won’t ever be photographed, and it’s not because I don’t want to, but typically because the circumstances after the projects are complete change, or people’s schedules don’t align. This one I was quite disappointed that I couldn’t document properly. But here is an iPhone shot to remember her by. taken in Woodstock, New York by @dichotomy_interiors

Serenity in the sky! I love the way the drapery added a soft layer of ethereal texture to the backdrop of the NYC skyline at this project. Photography: @kylejcaldwell Interior design and styling: @dichotomy_interiors taken in New York, New York by @dichotomy_interiors
