My Old Man, with his Little Soldier...

The greatest 70's power couple.
There are many single mothers,
he was a single father.

The London Fire Brigade knew him as Station Officer Keith Savage of Lambeth Fire Station, he rose to the rank of Commander. During the national Fire Brigade strike of '79 I was with him on the picket line at Deptford Station.

After a hot and run incident, when I was left for dead on the side of the road, he was the man who picked me up, brought me back to life, then had to hold me down as my face was sown back together.

Big hair, big moustache, big balls, and a massive motorbike - the mantra he taught me to live by.

I've never been more happy or more proud than when I've been standing next to him.

JUGGLING CANNONBALLS!!!

A little throwback to one of my first professional gigs as a circus strongman. This was Virgin festival V15 working with Tootles and Nibs, the powerhouse that is Chris Snelson. The evolution of the performer - @Virgin festival V2000 I was the catcher for the rock'n'roll flying trapeze company; The Flying Dudes!!!

Those big balls are real big balls and hail from The Commando Temple, where everything is bigger and heavier than it should be.

Just an oldboy playing in the park.

The angles are less horizontal than they used to be but with over half a century inside me I have to be happy with the toes...

Since Lockdown turned the world inside out and upside down I have devoted a small part of my day to me, making myself happier with myself, blocking out all the other noise.
This is my hard-work-happy-place.
