It’s dry here in Southeast Queensland, but the cattle are holding on better than I expected! 🐂

Thought we might’ve had to sell sooner, but the aim is to keep the breeders and bull and move on our heavier 2026 weaners, pushing around 280kg.

The bigger steers are doing well on grain out in the paddock, so hopefully they’ll be ready to go in the next four weeks. If we get some rain over the next couple of weeks, we’ll look to hold the younger weaners until next year. 🤞🌧️

Is your dry feed still working as hard as it could?

As pasture matures, protein levels can drop, making it harder for cattle to efficiently utilise the dry feed available. Protein supplementation helps support rumen microbes and can improve the utilisation of that feed — helping cattle get more from what’s already in the paddock.

Our PPP Block delivers Protein, Production & Phosphorus to support cattle when pasture quality starts to decline.

The paddocks might be drying out, but your cattle don’t have to slip backwards.

Our PPP Block helps supplement livestock on phosphorus-deficient country, while providing a protein boost when they need it most. Helping support them through the dry and keep production ticking along.

A little supplementation now can help save a whole lot of lost production later. 💰🌾
