🌈 Creating Light-bending Rainbows from SpaceDust since 2016🪐
📰 As seen in: New York Times,
🏅7 Public Sculptures Connecting Communities🌎

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am still amazed that I could see a vision of our cosmic universe in my minds eye that night 🚀 & that by following my intuition KNEW that I must bring this impossibly beautiful artifact into existence. It felt like a calling. ☀️
I think, for a second, my spirit touched the INFINITE
- and The most fascinating part of it all were the emails and messages I received from strangers who told me that they had also seen this before, in that other dimensional plane. 🪐
I never imagined while working at my families cheese plant doing data entry in Elgin Illinois That somehow, my art would resonate with and touch so many beautiful souls. 🌈 but it did.
And now I am filled with eternal gratitude for the path that it has taken me on as an artist.
Believe it or not for the last 10 years, I have STILL been trying to Create on Earth 🌎 what I saw in the heavens
…getting closer, Still not there yet, but still trying, and - i mean, I built this in a walking boot with a broken foot, so…. Going to overcome every obstacle🪜
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey 🛣️ 🤗

WOW! 🤩 Evolve17 has been awarded the Silver A' Design Award Winner for Arts 🏆
I put every once of creativity, energy and effort into this sculpture for over a year - maybe thats why I cried so much as I finished - the sculpture was now a part of me. ⚜️
It is the most beautiful object I’ve ever built, and there I was saying goodbye and leaving it behind. 📝

⚙️One of my main goals was to creating a feeling of elevation, and that feeling begins with one key action -- looking up. Gothic cathedrals, ancient monuments and historic temples all have us looking up to the heavens. This visual cue embraces many regions of the brain to then absorb the world around it. I wanted this space to lift the eyes of visitors, and spark a moment of contemplation. I hoped in that blissful moment of thinking about the heavens, the answer to the problem they were seeking would subtly appear. 🔑

Streetcar No. 1080 (Los Angeles Transit Lines tribute livery) traveling along the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Some special guests in the background during Fleet Week. To the right of Davis McCarty's @dicrodavis colorful Pulse Portal is the USCGC Munro. This is what happens when light becomes part of the experience.

🚀 This large-scale light sculpture installation transformed the space into something people could walk through, interact with, and feel.

Created for Yuri’s Night — a global celebration of space, exploration, and human curiosity. 🪐
