I wish someone had shared a detailed 2-week Peru itinerary with me when I was planning – so here it is for you! 💫

🇵🇪 Save & share this post with the friend you want to explore Peru with.

It honestly took me forever to figure out how long to stay in each place (you know the struggle – never enough vacation days 😅). This itinerary is well-researched, traveled & approved.

So tell me – have you been to Peru already, or is it still on your bucket list? 👀 taken in Perú by @didi.traveller

🇧🇦 If someone visits Bosnia-Herzegovina, it's often Mostar as a day trip from Croatia.

But just close to Mostar, there are other amazing places easily reachable from there.

1) Blagaj – a monastery right next to the water. We didn't visit it inside – I think the beauty lies in looking at it from outside. ⛪️

2) Počitelj – a cute village with an impressive tower, close to the river. We also had a nice köfte lunch here after walking up to the tower.

3) Kravica Waterfalls – so impressive! The water was ice-cold at the end of September but I managed to get in for a few minutes. 💦

4) Fortica Hill – amazing views over Mostar. ⛰️

Save this for your Bosnia-Herzegovina trip before you forget!

Did you visit Bosnia-Herzegovina beyond Mostar? Let me know in the comments!

The 9 days I spent there were just the beginning.

This itinerary is perfect for Azores first-timers — and for 9-to-5ers who take just 5 vacation days off and still get 9 full days of adventures!

Comment GUIDE to get my day-by-day itinerary and save this post for your future Azores trip 🌊

…and here's why:

• University Botanical Garden - 5/10: Nice garden, but not a must-visit for me, especially compared to other botanical gardens. If you're short on time, I'd skip it. There is a small entry fee.

• Milk Bar Rusałka - 8/10: If you only visit one milk bar, make it this one. It feels like stepping back into communist times - the interior has barely changed. Surprisingly, you can even pay by card!

• Varso Tower - 10000/10: One of the highlights of my trip! We visited before sunset and got to enjoy the views in daylight, at sunset, and after dark. Pro tip: book a slot around 45 minutes before sunset.

• Vistula Boulevard - 6/10: Nice for a walk, but nothing too special. If you're short on time, I'd skip it.

• Palace of Culture and Science - 9/10: Such an impressive building, both during the day and at night. It's hard to miss anyway, but definitely come back after dark!

Save this for your Warsaw trip! 🇵🇱

This place is worth to be added to your Bosnia-Herzegovina itinerary. 🇧🇦

We stopped here for lunch and for this beautiful mosque on our way from Jajce to Sarajevo - Travnik. We were lucky to have the mosque all for ourselves. I have seen many in the meantime, bigger ones, more “glamorous”, but the colorful mosque is one of a kind. Just look for "Colorful mosque" on Google Maps to find it.

If you're hungry: I can recommend Ćevabdžinica Hari, very yummy and you can sit outside with a view of the river.

Ever heard of Travnik in Bosnia-Herzegovina? 🇧🇦

If you’re afraid of heights… this might not be your spot 👀

But wow – the Trift Bridge is one of the most stunning places I’ve visited in Switzerland in my 10 years of living here. 🌉🇨🇭

Getting here takes some effort:
🥾 Hike: 1.5 hours one way
⬆️ Elevation gain: ~600m
🚠 Tip: Book your Triftbahn tickets in advance – it saves you 1000m elevation gain, and tickets sell out quickly!

Save this so you won't forget!

Would you dare to go?

I can't believe people visit Mostar without going here 🤯

When we visited, we had this place completely to ourselves.

It's only about 15 minutes by car from Mostar and offers an incredible view over the city. Yes, it's a bit scary (hold on to the handrail 😂), but the views are absolutely worth it.

If you're not afraid of heights, don't miss this viewpoint. Add it to your Bosnia & Herzegovina itinerary and save this so you don't forget! 🇧🇦

Would you visit? 👇

Can you believe it? 🤯 For 22km (!) you can float down the river on an inflatable boat in Switzerland 🇨🇭

It’s one of the best summer activities - honestly one of my favorites. You get mountain views, crystal-clear water and a lot of fun doing “Aarebööteln”.

Don’t worry, you can rent an inflatable boat with paddles at the starting point.
Some details:
• Route: Thun to Bern 📍
• Starting point: Steffisburg (Schwäbis, Thun) - easy to reach by bus or train
• Tricky section after approx. 20-30 min - stay on the right side, but not too far right. It’s manageable though.
• Alternatively, you can also start in Uttigen, after the tricky section.
• Duration: 2.5–4 hours, depending on the current
Even if you’re not in Switzerland for long, I definitely recommend this.

You can easily combine it with a visit to Thun or Bern.
Save this reel so you don’t forget!

Ever heard of this activity? Would you do it? 🛶

Having limited time in Warsaw? I visited the most popular places so you don't have to. 👇

📍 Łazienki Park - 8/10: A lovely park surrounding the palace. Perfect for a relaxing walk, but other places impressed me more, so I'm giving it an 8.

📍 Warsaw Old Town - 9/10: I loved the colorful buildings and the atmosphere. One point less because it isn't the original.

📍 University Library Rooftop Garden - 8/10: Such a cool place with a beautiful rooftop terrace. Definitely worth a visit!

📍 Magdalena Abakanowicz Pedestrian Bridge - 6/10: If you're already in the area or heading to Praga, it's worth crossing. But there are better viewpoints in Warsaw.

📍 Ether Rooftop Bar - 10000/10: I absolutely loved it. The views honestly reminded me of Hong Kong 🤣 and the prices are reasonable for a rooftop bar.

Stay tuned for Part II! Do you agree with my ratings? 👇

Oupsii.. instead, I do 20k steps a day on a city trip, add 4 stops on one day in a roadtrip, or 2 hikes plus a stop in a village.. making the most of my time with many adventures 😆
Who can relate? Are you team all inclusive or team adventure?

What an experience to visit the highest building in the EU! 🤯

I can tell you: the elevator is FAST. I definitely felt some pressure in my ears 😂

One of the highlights of my city trip to Warsaw was visiting the top of this building - the Varso Tower. The observation deck only opened in 2025.

It’s not cheap - tickets usually cost between €10 and €18 depending on the time slot. But for me, it was absolutely worth it - the views are stunning.

Pro tip: book your time slot in advance and choose a slot around 45-60 minutes before sunset. That way, you can enjoy the views in daylight and during sunset.

Fun fact: Varso Tower is the highest building in the EU at 310 meters, including its spire. The roof itself is much lower, but still, it’s an impressively tall building!
Did you know about Varso Tower? Have you visited?
