A few days ago, I lost my mom — my backbone, my best friend, my everything. 💔

Some battles are so sacred they’re meant to be kept off social media, and this was one of those battles. But the moment I felt my mom let go of my hand and watched her vitals slowly go down… my world stopped. I screamed louder than I ever thought possible.

Anyone who knew my mom knew how strong she was. She fought until the very end.

Mommy, it’s time for you to rest now. You raised 8 children, and through each of us, your legacy will continue to live on. You will forever live in our hearts.

One of her final wishes was to be laid to rest back home in Nigeria, and we want to honor that wish and give her the proper burial she deserves.

If I had to put into words on how I feel… this song would describe it. Thank you God for always directing my path. If you knew my story… you will understand why I will always be thankful to God.
