And it’s out! The official poster of our latest production “Det är bara du och jag” (Only You and Me), directed by Diego Monsiváis García. The project is now fully completed and ready to be distributed. We are so thrilled to see how the world takes in this subtle but heartfelt piece.

”Det är bara du och jag” is a short film that explores the real meaning of intimacy. What is it to be intimate, to feel connected? Is a kiss more intimate than sex? What words do we put upon feelings that we don’t quite understand or are ready for?

Stay tuned to see where you can see the film! And yes, we need your best wishes so the film can soon be touring in festivals worldwide! 😎🙏🏼🤞🏼

There is too much to say about last week. Certainly too much for one post.

There was stress. There was calm. Comradeship, birthdays, questionable decisions, small adventures and a frankly unnecessary amount of uncertainty.

We learned things. About sailing, about each other, about ourselves. Some lessons were more pleasant than others.

There was sun, salt, wind, exhaustion, laughter.

Life, basically. Just with a boat.

We turned around and the sun on our skin had turned into gold. We melted. My legs disappeared. My faced turned into cubes. Pixels. Her jaw dislocated. The beat kept pushing. They continued to talk but I went quiet. I didn’t panic, I let it happen. My nose bled. Golden blood ran down my lips, my neck, my belly. Soon the whole room was drowning in it 💛

Igår fick jag trafikböter för första gången. 1000 kr för att inte ha stannat vid en stoppskylt när jag cyklade (lite väl onödigt).

Fine. Jag gjorde fel. Jag cyklade fort eftersom jag var sen till bodypump 💪🏼 och höll dessutom en ganska målmedveten kurs mot en äldre dam som korsade gatan, nästan som om hon personligen stod mellan mig och mitt gympass. Jag kan förstå att polisen reagerade.

Det som störde mig mer än boten var tonen. Lite nedlåtande, lite onödigt hård. Men skitsamma. Jag tog boten och cyklade vidare.

Och började tänka på samhället. Det där stora, abstrakta som vi alla är en del av och samtidigt skapar. Långt ifrån perfekt, men ändå något som håller ihop våra liv.

Valet närmar sig. Jag gjorde valkompassen och, till min totala icke-förvåning, hamnade jag långt åt vänster och så långt från SD som det gick. Kanske är det därför jag också tänker på vad ett samhälle faktiskt är. Inte bara lagar, polis och institutioner, utan människor. Hur vi behandlar varandra, vad vi värderar och vad vi försöker bygga tillsammans.

Och när jag ser på mitt eget liv har jag väldigt mycket att vara tacksam för.

En ny vacker lägenhet mitt i stan. Ett jobb jag älskar. Möjligheten att resa. Fantastiska människor omkring mig.

Jag tänkte på middagen som @pierreorsander och hans jefes de cocina anordnade. På gyrosen från @davidshallspizzeria. På @liisucerenius, som jag fick äran att fotografera.

På mitt ex som snart ska bli mamma, och hur rörd jag blev när jag fick veta det.

Idag städade jag den gamla lägenheten vi en gång delade. Det kändes som att gå omkring i resterna av ett helt liv som nu faktiskt är över.

Skönt ändå.

Jag tänkte på älskade Ellen, som kom på besök i helgen och gjorde mitt liv ännu vackrare igen.

Och någonstans där blev polisen, boten och irritationen väldigt små.

Så nu sitter jag på @ramentpbiirumalmo. För när känslorna känns som rårörda lingon finns det få bättre botemedel. by @diego.coyote

Dance. We usually think of it as movement of the whole body. But it also lives in the tiny movements, in the intimacy of touch, here enlarged by the camera lens.

Dance is the whole body, and a part of it. A hand. An eye. Maybe even a molecule. It is movement, but also stillness.

Ultimately, perhaps, dance is simply presence. by @diego.coyote

I have a friend visiting from Mexico.

In 14 years of living in Sweden, exactly five friends have made the trip over to see me. Parents not included. Daniela is one of them. Which either says something about distance, friendship, or my effectiveness as a host.

Then, a few days ago, I got an email from Jihye at the Korean Cultural Center, one of my regular collaborators, asking if I could come up to Stockholm and shoot a festival.

I said yes.

Conveniently, this also gave me a perfectly legitimate excuse to drag Daniela around Stockholm.

So we walked through Gamla Stan, ate some food, and made the obligatory pilgrimage to @fotografiska, still one of my favorite museums anywhere. Among other things, we caught the Martin Parr exhibition.

Excellent. Actually, better than excellent. Funny, ugly, tender, merciless. The sort of photography that reminds you that human beings are endlessly ridiculous and therefore endlessly worth looking at.

Some 20,000 steps later, we finally made it back to our Airbnb, tucked into the cellar of an old building.
