*we don’t have liner notes so I’m using this for that, so beware this is long*
I think the first song we “finished” was constant pressure - it was all in 5/4 and 5 bpm faster, and as Duncan began adding lyrics it evolved into the song it is now. We wrote a total of 8 songs for this EP, recorded 7, and released “Have I Ever Done Anything?” with 6 of those, and it’s one of the proudest musical things I’ve been a part of with some of the best musicians, band mates, and friends I could ask for.
@relatedenver got in a van last year (while I caught a flight) to Boston and met @jay_maas at like 11:30 pm; he was like 80% sick and 100% taller than I thought he was. We loaded in and essentially sheltered in place for two weeks to record. Except for the morning Dunkin Donuts, convenience store runs to get NoS and Monsters, and the Blink Love Letter shows, the studio was pretty much all we saw. Worth it. Just 5 dudes recording, re arranging, rewriting, and swimming through music was absolute bliss and I can’t wait to do it again.
Since then, we’ve been afforded some amazing opportunities and reached some incredible milestones, and I can’t wait to see where this goes
Please go check out the EP in full streaming just about everywhere now
To my incredible wife @steph_pen_yuh - i love you so much. Thank you for your unwavering support during those two weeks and the year that followed. You mean the world to me and I’m so grateful to have you backing me and grounding me ❤️
To the guys in @relatedenver - i love yall, and forever grateful to you guys for putting up with my dumb mashed potato drum fills and for being deeply understanding of my emotional swings. Im so proud of us. Look at what we made 🫶
To @jay_maas - you read the room so quickly and helped us elevate this beyond what any of us expected. You’re the fucking man and I can’t thank you enough for the love you put into this. Also thank you so much for putting us up - the DIY life doesn’t give much grace, but the people do and you’re a real one. NoSman forever
To @jsh.suave - thank you for believing in us. Im so fucking stoked to have you be a part of the team by @diegofuegs

Today @relatedenver released our new song called “Apathy” and this is one of my favorite parts to play in the entire EP. It’s just so fun to do. Link in bio, you know the drill.
Camera audio blended with the song - from our show on 4/13 at valley bar in phoenix, AZ. Drum cams are coming 🤭

A @steph_pen_yuh appreciation post:

I love this woman with all my heart and I’m so beyond grateful for her in my life. I’m not one to post on here often, just missing her something extra today. Being gone for a week to play music leaves a bit of a hole in our lil 3 piece family, and I can’t begin to explain how appreciative and lucky I am to always have her in my corner.
I love you so much bubby, we’ll be back to traveling ourselves in no time 😘 taken in Northern Hemisphere by @diegofuegs
