my shoes in the Louvre ❤️ I designed both of these shoes working self-led 12h shifts remotely from my @prattinstitute dorm. If you scroll this page and looked back on my archive you will see how hard i worked from the age of 13 to prepare myself for this opportunity, out of initially blind faith; I say initially because after a couple of years I began to see this vision, by 2018-19 I was constantly designing Louis Vuitton concepts for Virgil Abloh, in a closed loop design process which took place wholly in my mind and bedroom. Those designs are still up on my page to this day.. that work i put in all my teenage years had made this future available to me. The efficacy of my prayer made it real on just my 21st birthday⚡️❤️ This is a gargantuan piece of my personal history, a Goliath set forth to be slain by a older, wiser, and more evolved version of my self, which I am in the process of cultivating. “Design Direction” - Colombia 🇨🇴🪗For KidSuper ss27 menswear show Final Print and Suit developed by @kidsuper / @ethgayle I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia in 2001.. For this look I wanted to create a suit out of the Sombrero Vueltao weave, this pattern which has one way or another surrounded me my entire life…In paintings by my late uncle, or the tote bags with the pattern which seem to be endless supply in any Colombian household. I also went to the beach the first day I landed in miami and bought authentic Colombian jewelry from an artisan lady. I sourced additional colombian flag bracelets from my friend and ex Pratt soccer teammate @notjuangomez .
