💗🤰🏻Some things you build. Some things just find you.
This one found us - and we’ve never felt so grateful.
Building our family, starting now ♥️🙏 by @dielarax

Sometimes people ask how being vegan fits into a culture where food means so much. 🌱

The truth is, we both grew up with Turkish food at the center of everything — big family tables, recipes everyone knows by heart, and the kind of meals that bring people together.

So when we went vegan, leaving that behind was never really the plan.

Instead, we just started learning how to cook those dishes a little differently.

Now a lot of our life revolves around recreating the food we grew up with, sharing meals with people we love, and navigating those “interesting” dinner conversations.

And somehow, that journey turned into this little corner of the internet.

If you’re curious what vegan life looks like in a Turkish household, you’re very welcome here.💫 by @dielarax

The plot twist?
We’re both vegan.

My husband and I are both Turkish — and yes, we’re both vegan. 🇹🇷🌱

Which tends to surprise people more than anything else.

Because in our culture, food means hospitality, family and tradition.

So most conversations start right there.

Now we just keep showing up to the table and recreating the dishes we grew up with — just in our own way.

My husband and I both grew up Turkish — with food being such a big part of family, hospitality and tradition 🇹🇷🌱

Going vegan never meant leaving that behind!

We still eat the dishes we grew up with, we just recreate them in a way that fits our life now 🙏

Different ingredients. Same memories, same traditions, same feeling around the table. 🇹🇷🌱

“Is the baby really getting everything it needs?”👀🌱

Probably one of the questions I hear most when people find out I’m vegan and pregnant.

And honestly, I don’t think I can explain my way out of every concern.

So I’d rather just show you what I actually eat, what I pay attention to and how I make this pregnancy work for me. 🤍

Not perfect. Not complicated. Just intentional 🙏

Also ja: willkommen in meinem Nesting-Wahnsinn.

BEFORE THE BABY ARRIVES — ep. 01 by @dielarax

I’ve been vegan for years. Pregnancy didn’t suddenly make me question that 🌱🤰🏻

It just made everyone else question it for me. 😅

Protein. Iron. Supplements. “Is that even healthy for the baby?”

So instead of explaining myself over and over, I decided to just show you what my vegan pregnancy actually looks like.

The food. The movement. The check-ups. The things I pay attention to — and the things people assume.

One thing I’ve learned during pregnancy: supplementing doesn’t automatically mean your diet is “missing something”🌱.

Some nutrients simply become more relevant during pregnancy — vegan or not!

For me, the important part is knowing my routine, checking my values regularly and supplementing intentionally instead of just taking everything “just in case”.

I’ll keep showing you what my healthy vegan pregnancy actually looks like — including the less visible parts behind the food, movement and everyday life. 🤍🌱

Funny how pregnancy changes the meaning of “taking care of yourself” 👶🏻💗

The way I eat, move, rest and live feels a little more intentional now — because it’s not just about me anymore.

And she’s not even here yet. 🤍

I’ll keep showing you what my healthy vegan pregnancy really looks like — and soon, what our life looks like as a family of three 🌱💗 by @dielarax

My husband and I are both vegan, and travelling together has made us very used to planning ahead 🌱

Pregnancy has changed that even more — because now it’s not just about finding something vegan, but food that actually feels nourishing too🍓🤰🏻

And this trip made me think a lot about next year, when we’ll be travelling as a family of three. 🤍

People have a lot to say about vegan pregnancy 🌱🤰🏻
Protein, iron, energy, whether I’m eating enough, whether it’s “healthy enough”… 😅

And honestly, I don’t think I can explain my way out of every opinion.

So I’d rather just show you what I actually eat ♥️

A lot of protein, warm meals, carbs, healthy fats, fibre — and food that genuinely makes me feel good in this pregnancy.

Not perfect. Not complicated. Just what works for me right now. 🤍

If you’re curious what a healthy vegan pregnancy actually looks like in everyday life, follow along. I’ll keep showing you. by @dielarax

I’ve been vegan for years 🌱 Pregnancy didn’t change that.

It just made me even more intentional about how I nourish myself.

More protein. More variety. More listening to what my body actually needs.

And somehow, it also made everyone else a lot more curious about what’s on my plate. 😅

So instead of explaining what a vegan pregnancy should look like…
I’ll just keep showing you what mine looks like.

The food, the routines, the healthy habits — and everything I’m learning along the way.
