General Feelings is a New York born Salvadoran artist living in Melbourne whose work includes amongst many things DJing, and the running of General Feelings sound system. Regardless of the outcome her work always comes from her deep love of all things Latin music; She spins from classics, experimental, and contemporary,  rhythms digging deep into a  bag full of hilarious and clever edits and endless sexy grooves. DJ General Feelings has been playing for over 20 years in which she has played at warehouses, clubs, a bus,  galleries, festivals, and on the radio waves and when she is on the decks, the energy and mood is always right.  General Feelings continues to lift sound system culture in this country, with tough party-selections and a forward thin taken in 24 Moons by @dif.e_

Deep gratitude to DJKASE for blessing JUJUCLUB with a powerful recording that celebrates the spirit of Afro-Caribbean futurism.

Based in Naarm, DJKASE’s genre-bending sound and rhythmic storytelling bring us a nostalgic journey infused with future-facing beats, intention, and soul.

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge all FLINTA* people and every earthling contributing to the art and music community. Together, we celebrate the strength, creativity, and voices that shape our spaces. We remain committed to pushing borders so we can continue building a more united, supportive, and inclusive community.

New energy. Fresh talent. Special guests. Community at the centre of it all.

We’re building louder, stronger, together.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we gather and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We also honour Indigenous peoples worldwide and their enduring cultures, knowledge, and connection to Country.

The mix is available on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. 🔗 taken in Naarm by @dif.e_
