I had been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. Among other comorbidities and colourful diagnoses of MDD and C-PTSD, BPD for me has been the most-
The very graceful truth is that most, if not every singular day, is a test and work. Torture definitely is a word I must politely not leave out. I could begin to say a very many things of pain and the weight of carrying my existence but I stutter with a permanently lodged rock in my throat.
This preamble of pain is not complete without mentioning the pain of my family and friends. The unsaid secondary trauma and caregiver burnout of the few people who have tended to me and continue to do so haunt me every night. Although nuanced and confusing in its own way, and most definitely not perfect; the disgustingly watertight support system of my people—personal and professional—is the privilege that keeps me breathing, Alhamdulillah. One that I was given that many and most mentally ill, chronically ill individuals do not receive and are deprived of. Grateful is a word that really does not suffice. I owe everything to you and padachol. And art.
It would be nice to not regret this. It would be fun to feel less alone. So if you would like to say anything to me, please do message or build a home in the comment section. I will not lie that it is a ‘safe’ space since it is under the public eye but it is a woman’s word that it is an empathetic space. Lastly, I am not looking for unsolicited advice and flatulent sympathies, if any. But really, a give and take of useful resources and insights are things I am looking forward to. Thank you so much.

• June five: Dissociated forgotten mumbling of a poem

Too anxious
Ears hurt
Tinnitus ringing
Can’t listen to music closely
Can type I’m typing now
Ears are like blocked
Feel sick feel like puking
Cold
Watch feels tight around my wrist
Feel weak hearted
This has been kinda persistent
Should have taken meds yesterday
I have skipped once or twice these past weeks
Maybe three times
So many feeling and thoughts but can only kind of focus on this mad anxiety now

Also why did you call me last week or something? I was too anxious to answer
You don’t usually call
Now to come here I’m so anxious
Heart feels like it’s failing
But it’s strange how I text my friend in between
And even being sarcastic
I just feel difficult to talk out loud somehow a little maybe body hurts maybe something

I remember. Didn’t shower for more than a month. Bothered me a lot
Can’t sleep through the night at night without meds it’s annoying
Skipped meds and couldn’t sleep at all even through the day
