This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the power of compassion, understanding, and the unwavering belief in the potential of every individual, regardless of their abilities.

To my son Taahir and the amazing individuals on the spectrum of autism and their families, you are my inspiration. Your resilience, strength, and unique perspectives have forever changed my life. It is an honor to stand alongside you, to amplify your voices, and to advocate for your rights. Together, we will continue to break down barriers, celebrate neurodiversity, and create a world where every person is embraced for who they are.

A huge thank you to @sensharifstreet for putting together another amazing community baby shower! Taahir’s Village was happy to be invited to connect with local families and share our resources. It was a beautiful day spent supporting our neighbors. Last but not least, shout out to Mrs. Monica Monica Allison for creating space for me to vend at this event!

Sidenote: It felt like a big reunion! I loved running into so many people I haven't seen in awhile. I need to get out more! Today was exactly what I needed. 🤗

It's so important that our students who communicate differently have PECS cards or AAC device icons that truly reflect their own lives and experiences. When we personalize these tools to match each child's lifestyle and daily routines, we're practicing culturally responsive teaching. That makes all the difference in helping them find their voice and while representing who they are.

Today Tawdee and I had such a wonderful time at the Philadelphia 250 Year Wawa festival at the Please Touch Museum! I was so busy soaking up every moment with him that I didn't get many videos, but honestly, being present was more important than capturing everything on camera. 💙🤗

I want everyone to know that Tawdee genuinely enjoys helping others, and I used this as an opportunity to teach him valuable life skills and how to engage with people.
