I often joke about being performative but there’s nothing theatrical about Differently Uptown.

Before I was a thought my mother had a restaurant bar in Jamaica called Ackee Tree. She eventually moved on from the establishment to come to the United States and give her family a better living. I watched her work countless hours through adversity while I grew up. Through all challenges she made sure to water her plants and take care of those she loved.

As the 9th September without my mother comes to an end I wanted to give you guys a plant to cherish in her memory.

For a couple of you who received this shirt in orders here is the explanation. This shirt comes free with all orders $100 or more.

From my garden to yours enjoy. Love and miss you mom.

Chocolate City Nationals.

An ode to one of my favorite cities to visit. Where my favorite rapper comes from. Every visit I’ve been embraced with open arms. From GoGo music to Mumbo sauce on my fried chicken. From bar crawls to the smiles on beautiful women. My favorite phrase whenever I go is that D.C owes me nothing. It’s an honor to pay homage.

Available in store and online tomorrow 6/16/26 at @4ucaps98

Last year around this time I met Ty @poise.bk .He explained his mission to connect music and art with community. I saw his store as a garden that planted the seeds of camaraderie. It reminded me of my community and family that allowed me to grow in the garden of Uptown Bronx. As an anniversary of meeting Ty we are hosting 2 events with one coming this Saturday April 18th from 5PM to 8PM. Stop by a collect a new vinyl or a new shirt.

Event : @poise.bk 4/18/26 5PM to 8PM
