🧐Ever wondered what it looks like INSIDE our courses? Take a sneak peak behind the scenes in our current Intro to Stand Up course taught by comedian Dan Belkin. Stand-up might seem like a solo performance but in our course - team support, group feedback, brainstorming sessions and helping eachother develop our performace sets is at the heart of what we do. This results in lots of laughter, confidence boosts and finishing the course with a whole new group of friends 🧡 No matter your background or experience, everyone is welcome in our Intro course. You don't need to be funny or extroverted, just willing to give it a go and we promise you'll have a whale of a time!

Huge congrats to all our students on this course, we're so proud of how far you've come in just 5 weeks 👏

Thanks to @le_croque_bedaine_luxembourg for keeping us hydrated and nourished with your delicious food & drinks 🥪🧉

🎭 Join us for an Improv Jam @carlitos_comedy - the show where you can be entertained by unscripted theatre and you can even get up on stage and take part if you wish (don't worry this part is optional!)

🤔But what is an improv jam?
It's like an open mic show, where anyone who wants to can get up on stage and perform improv games & scenes. The audience help shape the scenes that take place by offering suggestions and your host will moderate ensuring things run smoothly & everyone feels safe and respected.
Everyone is welcome so grab a friend and join us for an unforgettable and hilarious night out!

🍹18:30-19:00: Drinks, snacks, chats
🎤19:00-21:00: Showtime
🎟 Register via our box office page (link in bio)
📍Carlitos Comedy Club, Gare, Luxembourg City

🌦 This Jam was meant to take place in the Park but rain is forecast and no one likes a soggy bum, so thank you to Carlitos for offering to host us last minute - the show must go on! 🍑

Thank you so much to @thejoelbryant for teaching a workshop with Dig Deep! Not ashamed to admit I've been mildly stalking Joel since 2022 after seeing his live show and have wanted him to teach with us since then - so very glad it finally happened! And it sure was worth the wait 🕺
Joel brought his 20+ years of being a professional performer in improv, acting & stand-up and led us in a fantastic Longform Improv workshop. He guided us through creating bold characters, making strong choices and using our imagined physical environment to ignite our scenes & characters and then we put it all together in two formats. We laughed a lot and we learned a lot 🎭

Thank you Joel for taking the time to create a curated workshop especially for Dig Deep students and for bringing your bags of energy! Looking forward to your next visit already 🎉

🌞Characters & Scenes Improv Course. What a wonderful 6 weeks we had together levelling up our Improv skills and mastering the La Ronde longform format. The summer sunshine gave us lots of opportunity for drinks & nachos on Rocas terrace. As always, we wrapped up the course with an amazing showcase for family & friends and what a show these guys put on! Congratulations to all our students making Dig Deep so proud as usual 🥲

🫂Big thanks to our Claudia for all her help with this course

📢We're so excited to bring you a workshop with international guest teacher, improviser, actor, comedian, MC & mega talent powerhouse - @thejoelbryant 💫 This 'Character & Scenework for Longform Improv' workshop is open to everyone, regardless of your performance experience.

What to expect:
Improv is fun, fast-paced, and full of quick riffs off audience suggestions. But even short-form improv needs strong scenes, characters and relationships. That’s the foundation of great improv and any performance, from acting to stand-up. The stronger the relationship, the higher the stakes. We will dive into building characters with depth and taking risks with our scene work. We'll also explore the classic long-form improv format The Harold which is a fantastic format for connected scenes and rich storytelling.

The workshop is also a great opportunity to learn from Joel's experience of being an independently busy performer for 20+ years

🧍‍♂️About Joel

Joel Bryant is a Los Angeles-based improviser, comedian, actor and MC. A Groundlings-trained performer, he has taught improv throughout Los Angeles and internationally, including Cambodia, Paris, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, France, Southeast Asia and across the U.S. He's a multi-year main stage performer at LA Connection Comedy Theatre and has toured the U.S. and overseas with his two-person improv act, Composte Comedy Heap. In 20+ years of stand-up, Joel has shared the stage with Bill Burr, Jim Jefferies, Nate Bargatze, Anthony Jeselnik, Iliza Schlesinger and Jay Leno, opened for Stevie Wonder, John Legend and ZZ Top, and was featured in a New York Times article about English-language comedy around the world. He's also an actor with credits including Monk, The Heartbreak Kid, LA Macabre and Criminal Minds. His film Candlewood was released in 2025 on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
