Okay, it’s nearly 12 o’clock and the jig is up! 🃏 I’ve spent all morning in the 'plant' and turns out... I’m actually terrible at pressing. 🧇🔥

I’m honestly so touched (and a bit embarrassed!) by all the support this morning 😳. Having my own pressing plant is something I’ve dreamed of for years, so seeing how much you all backed the idea means the world to me.

But for now, @digdeeprecords_ isn't opening a factory today. Happy April Fools! 💿

Back to the day job of finding great wax and flipping it! If you know anyone with a couple hundred grand going spare, gimme a shout... 😉💰🍩🌱

APRIL FOOLS you lovely people x (see my latest post for the 'burnt' truth! 👨‍🍳🧇)

I’ve been keeping this under wraps for a while nowp, but I’m beyond excited to finally announce that @digdeeprecords_ is expanding! We’ve officially opened our very own vinyl pressing plant!

Our focus will be on small runs and limited edition presses with the aim of supporting the underground music scene.

We start taking orders on April 31st. Stay tuned for our first 'pressing' announcement later today...

Frankie Knuckles seminal Club Mix of Loose Ends from 1992, plus his Classic Club Reprise (that was only available on the 12"), plus the Original 12″ Mix from 1985 💪

A unifying record that was as loved by the Soul Boys as it was by the US Garage and House heads.

Pioneering dance music ♥️

Gracing festival line ups alongside the likes of Luke Una, Aroop Roy, Crazy P, and Optimo, UK DJ/Producer Tigerbalm brings her vibrant global sound to Razor-N-Tape-Reserve for their 60th release. ➡️↔️➡️

Following a run of singles and an LP on Ubiquity Records, Tigerbalm's Nina EP opens with percussive sax laiden boogie featuring India's Farafi. Sisters enlists Les Amazones d'Afrique (an all-female collective of west African musicians which includes Angélique Kidjo, Kandia Kouyaté, Mamani Keita, Mariam Doumbia, Mariam Koné, Massan Coulibaly, Mouneissa Tandina, Nneka, Pamela Badjogo and Rokia Koné) for the more tropical balearic and soulful A side closer.

The B side contains two remixes of Nina. First up, Elado bumps up the dancefloor pressure, whilst Voilaaa transforms the song into a driving and authentic classic Zouk arrangement. Fresh as they come worldwide vibes throughout.

The debut vinyl release from Berlin based and London born DJ and Producer Keisuke is a voyage into high-quality underground House music.

With his roots in orchestral percussion from a young age, while studying in Glasgow he became immersed in the city’s fertile club scene and began to fuse his percussive experience with dancefloor production, slowly honing his craft over a decade.

His hard work and dedication paid off when Phonica signed this four track EP to their esteemed White Label series in 2021 👏👏👏👏

Colombia's Felipe Gordon and Vagabundo Club Social team up to rework 3 rare tracks from 70s Colombian latin afrobeat funk bands Wganda Kenya and Julian y su Combo.

The original records all sell for hefty sums of money, if you can find them.

The last couple of mint copies on the cogs have recently leapt up in price, given it's rarity...

DJ, crate digger, and rare record guru, Red Greg dropping 3 of his outstanding edits on the vinyl only Moton label 💪

As with all the Moton 12"s, identifying the original source material isn't always easy. So spotting two with a lead on number three is good going.

Red Greg skillfully chops and tucks the originals in all the right places to create three essential dancefloor gems ✂️
