Ever since i first tried Collect Files in After Effects i've been angry... I don't want a new project folder... What do you mean dropped a "log" file in my project? Im calling the police... Tex Collector adresses this, a simple free plugin for after effects that collects files, listens for imported files, strongly recommend you collect them, audits your project file, finding missing files and whipping them all into an asset folder next to your project file.
