hello from DANCE OR DONT.

do you like music thats kinda in its own zone? too hard fr the chill room but too chill fr the rave? too experimental fr the club, too silly fr the gallery show? stuff thats wonky, wavey, distorted, or too oddly shaped to fit into a genre? if so, then you should probly get to Zuzu on wednesday October 14th fr another edition of 2WEIRD2DANCE2! this all-producer showcase features live sets from @_mod.op , @buhlio_ , @dadabots_ , @lunaveil_ethereal , @muda4k , @pleasebereal_wvfx + @pitponyshow , and myself (rare somewhat chiller set), along with live visuals from @digital__awareness and @the_lord_of_fools , plus art vending by @riskystitches .

Wake me up, when Synth-tember starts! Specifically, this Friday 7pm at @newalliancegallery!!

We've been putting the finishing touches on our new installation piece, "IRL CAPTCHA." In some ways it's typical DA fare, but this time YOUR BODY is the DA board operator (jumpsuit not included).

Are you a human? Can you verify that?? How many of these squares include photos of traffic cones??? Find out the answers to all these important questions this Synth-tember!

A huge thanks to @atanenhaus and @jessbaggia for curating the show, and the rest of the New Alliance crew for making it all possible. There are so many talented video and digital artists on display - come see it for yourself and hang with us on Opening Night this Friday! taken in New Alliance Gallery by @digital__awareness

Summer festival season ain't over just yet!! Join us, and a heaping spoonful of some of the North Shore's finest bands, on Saturday 9/12 for a @moon_over_salem Mini-fest 🌙🎸📽️🍿🤘

We'll be hijacking the projector feed at @cinemasalem all day, slinging "viz" and raising "bux" for the @moon_north_shore Rising Artist Scholarship.

This is one flick that won't ever come to streaming, so mark those calendars, butter that popcorn, and we'll see you on the silver screen!

Last month we had a, you guessed it, NICE time hanging out in the @rockwellthtr for 36 non-contiguous hours of NICETIES at @niceafest! We DA'd sets for over 30 incredible acts - these are only some of our favorite clips, of friends new and old alike. A huge thanks to @someburgers and the whole NICE team for bringing us back for our second & NICEST year yet. Thanks for coming out and saying hi, and we'll see you at the next one! taken in The Rockwell by @digital__awareness

This has not been the best year for Salem's DIY community, what with Moon shuttering for the better part of the year.

We at Cape Crush enterprises are REALLY excited to be back on the Cinema Salem stage in front of whatever the hell the @digital__awareness magicians do.

We hope you'll join us on 9/12 for a day of music and community and practical magic.

All funds go to the Rising Artist Scholarship. Ticket link is in our bio 💕💕 taken in Cinema Salem by @digital__awareness
