unreleased keyframes from JONAH HEX (2010).
.
Hex had to wake the dead by going to the Turnbuhl crypt and interrogating one of the sons. I drew this take before it was restaged to accommodate a dwindling budget for this rather ambitious movie. I like that the folks @dcofficial took a swing at a disfigured supernatural cowboy as a leading man and stacked the cast. Why not?! What else is there?
.
💀👻🤡 I love drawing spooky stuff and genre comedies! Tis the season, so just putting this out there. 💀👻🤡

My fave book these days. Originally a kickstarter, might still be in print. Would recommend if you do these for a living. The range of styles and approaches at a high level of thinking is so inspiring! Movies are awesome. Making them with artist friends is awesomer.

Posting it wrong - unused thumbnails from a movie. Doodled this in 2012 or so for ‘EPIC’, then I died laughing at the tiny hand jokes in Deadpool four years later. Swing and a miss!
.
(The idea was the villain’s blood was full of creepy regenerative rot. Drips blood on things and it flowers like a cancer. Chop off a limb, it grows back, and he hits you with the stump. Touches you and it spreads through your skin. Too intense for a G or PG rating. Woops!)

Shout out to @mario_incandenza_fan and @coach_troybrown for their expertise and patience during my research phase! I’ve learned so much on this one, for real.

How's the new spider-movie? I drew a spider man, just for us.

The other slide was homework, i should finish that 'how-to comics' course sometime. Pay the bills first, you know how 'tis.
