Delusional enough to follow my dream, realistic enough to freak tf out about it - design, photography, writing were always a passion of mine. I chose a career path in marketing, worked at agencies and supported myself during my studies with all kinds of branding jobs. I’ve seen how marketing works for big or small companies at various different touch points, and learned a LOT during it.

The older I get and the more I see, I truly believe that passion and knowledge combined can create powerful outcomes and opportunities. I don’t have everything figured out and I don’t believe that everything I touch will turn to gold BUT I do believe that I have an eye for beauty, the education to understand why something works and a skill to connect with people.

So this is the start of me sharing, learning, and building out loud, imperfectly and visible to the world aka whoever sees this post. What should a social media manager do for your business?

1. A clear content strategy is the foundation for your social media game. You choose what and how you want to present your business. What is the message? Who are you talking to? How do you want to present your product or services? Believe me - these foundations are crucial for a long-term unified outlook and success of your social game.

2. After setting up your strategy, you need to act. As a perfectionist and my biggest critic, I understand how hard it can be to take the first steps, but in the beginning, putting your business out there will be a trial-and-error run. If you are 80% happy with your content, go with it and see how it results. Analyze your content and measure the performance. Set specific KPIs to measure and compare every 30-60 days. How well did my posts perform? How was the reach, engagement, or interactions? You will see a lot of valuable insights on which of your content performed best and try to orientate for future content.

3. Engage with your audience. People are not looking for you. You have to interact with them and communicate your message. Like, comment, or repost! Social media is a community, and the best way to integrate your socials into the online wildness is to create relationships.
