Blocker: To hide from a fight between her parents, a young roller skater escapes to a school dance in her mind.

We took it back to 2005 for Blocker. A time when imagination and an iPod nano was the only escape. For the roller skating sequences we transformed a church gym into a period appropriate school dance. The colour soaked lighting and high school DJ fog machine set the tone apart from the anxiety of her situation at home.

“Perimeter” premiered last night @princesscinemas. But you can watch it right now @perimeterinstitute’s YouTube channel.

There is no place on the planet quite like the Perimeter Institute. It was a honour to tell the story of how it started and how it maintains its singular mission to this day.

𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙠/ Goodnight, Day

Goodnight, Day is a short film about the messy, painful, stressful, gratifying world of work. The film is made up of several vignettes of workers all woven together and accompanied by recorded phone conversations about jobs, money, and why we do what we do.
