89% blockage. Three procedures. Writing this from my hospital bed.

I’m not going to sugarcoat it—it hurt like hell.

But here’s the thing about almost dying: it has a way of making you crystal clear about what matters.

A few weeks ago, I failed a stress test for my upcoming hip replacement. At first, I was frustrated. Another obstacle. Another delay. Another thing getting in the way of my plans.

Today I found out that “failed” stress test just saved my life.

89% blockage. They had to do three procedures.

If I had gone into hip surgery without knowing... I don’t want to finish that sentence.

So here I am. In the progressive care heart unit. In pain. Exhausted. And somehow... grateful.

Not grateful for the struggle. But grateful for the catch. Grateful for the doctors. Grateful for my husband who prayed over me this morning before they wheeled me back. Grateful that I get more time.

More time to coach. More time to love. More time to help women find their voices through their own struggles.

Because here’s what I keep learning over and over: our struggles don’t silence us. They give us our most powerful stories.

This is my story. Raw. Real. Unfiltered.

Today is heart cath day.

I’m sitting here in pre-op admission, hospital gown on, IV in, waiting for what comes next. And honestly? I’m at peace.

Because this morning, my husband of 30 years held my hands and prayed over me. 🥹

30 years. Through lupus flares. Through multiple heart attacks. Through surgeries and setbacks and seasons where I wondered if I’d ever feel like myself again.

And this man still chooses to start our hardest days on his knees.

That’s the thing about marriage, about love, about having someone in your corner—it doesn’t make the hard stuff disappear. But it does make you feel less alone in it.

So here I am. Vulnerable. A little nervous. But deeply grateful.

Grateful for the doctors and nurses preparing to take care of me. Grateful for a husband who still believes in the power of prayer. Grateful that even in the waiting, I get to share this moment with you.

If you’re going through something hard today—whether it’s a hospital room, a difficult conversation, or just getting out of bed—I see you.

You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to keep showing up.

Tomorrow is December 3rd.

Tomorrow I walk into another heart catheterization. Another moment of not knowing what they’ll find.

And I should be terrified. But sitting here tonight, something unexpected happened.

I’m not scared. I’m clear.

Clearer than I’ve been in years.

Being brought to my knees so many times showed me something: The struggle isn’t stopping me from my purpose. It IS my purpose.

Every setback revealed what matters. Every challenge built strength I didn’t know I had.

If you’re in your own storm right now—I see you. I am you.

This is not the end of your story. This is the chapter where you discover who you really are.

It’s okay to struggle. It’s real life. But what you do afterwards—in the transformation, in the coming back—that’s where the magic lives.

I’m writing to you from a cabin in the Georgia mountains.

It’s basically all windows—six acres of land that sits on a creek, wide open to the world. My husband is here. My two Australian Shepherds are curled up beside me. And I’m looking out at my favorite place on earth, feeling something powerful wash over me.

Gratitude. Hope. And a deep, unshakeable knowing that I want this same feeling for you.

The Truth About Where I Am Right Now

Let me be completely honest with you about this moment.

I have a heart catheterization scheduled for December 3rd. Three days from now. I don’t know what they’ll find. I’m hoping—praying—for clearance to get my hip replaced on December 11th.

So yeah, I’m sitting here with concern. With uncertainty. With that familiar flutter of fear that comes before medical procedures when your body has already been through so much.

But you know what else I’m sitting with?

Hope.

Because we’re heading into the last month of 2025. And I am determined—absolutely determined—to finish this year strong. And to help as many women as possible do the same.

If You Feel Stuck Right Now, I See You

I don’t know your story. I don’t know what you’re carrying or what’s weighing you down.

Maybe it’s a health struggle like mine. Maybe it’s a relationship that’s draining you. Maybe it’s a career that stopped fulfilling you years ago but you don’t know how to change it. Maybe it’s just this vague, heavy feeling that life is happening TO you instead of FOR you.

Whatever it is—I see you.

I see you trying to hold it together while everything inside you is screaming.

I see you going through the motions while your heart is breaking.

I see you wondering if this is all there is, if you’ll ever feel like yourself again, if you even remember who that person was.

I see you. And I understand.

Because I am you.

I’ve been quiet on here… but not because I’ve been stuck.
I’ve been behind the scenes doing the real work — learning, building, doubting, dreaming.
