If you ask me, the Loire Valley is the most dynamic region in all of France! Not so much a single style here, but a snaking river of possibilities. We’ll follow it through sparkling Crémant, check out the wonders of the multifaceted Chenin Blanc, and on to the lesser-known wines of Reuilly, and the reds of Cheverny and Chinon. We may even slide a sweet treat in there for ya too, because they can do it all! From bone dry to dessert in a glass, still to sparkling and everything in between - get on down and see why the Loire Valley needs to be on your radar!

$75/pp, light bites included!

IT'S FREE Y'ALL!

Our buddy Cesar is back, and this time he’s bringing the reinforcements! Swing on by On Friday, September 11th from 5-8pm to taste through the wines of Le Monde, a gem of Fruili! Cesar will be joined by Friuli wine ambassador Giovanni Brumat, offering up the MOST appropriate wines to pair with our beloved Pizza Slut’s offerings!

Located in western Friuli, Le Monde’s site has agricultural roots going all the way back to the 1700s - though it has changed hands a few times over the years. A local named Alex Maccan, always with an admiring eye on the site, purchased the property in 2008, with a pretty simple focus - produce wines with estate fruit, and showcase single varietal bottlings with an unmistakeable sense of place. Trust me…he’s done a fantastic job!

Brooks cellar tasting comin up on September 15th!

Brooks Wine was founded in 1998 by Jimi Brooks, whose years working in Europe inspired a particularly Oregon approach to Riesling and Pinot Noir - high acid, food friendly wines grown and made with minimal intervention. When Jimi died unexpectedly just before the 2004 harvest, his eight year old son Pascal inherited the winery, while an admirable group of Oregon winemakers came together to complete the vintage. Jimi’s sister, Janie Brooks Heuck, stepped away from a career in healthcare to lead the winery, ultimately transforming Brooks into one of the Willamette Valley’s most lauded independent estates.

Come on down and join us on Tuesday, September 15th, as we welcome Janie and the wines of Brooks to Digress. We’ll be hanging in the cellar, tasting through the wines below while Janie tells us all about what makes this family owned, women led, certified Biodynamic winery so special! $25/pp

2024 Brooks Renewal Pinot Gris
2024 Brooks Amycas White
2024 Brooks Willamette Valley Riesling
2024 Brooks Renewal Pinot Noir
2024 Brooks Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
2022 Brooks Janus Pinot Noir
