What a day we had for Parkinsons UK. Andy has had Parkinsons for 28 years , he battles on with many different symptoms , spatial awareness ,speech issues, coordination, stiffness, double vision, the list is much longer . In his previous life he was a talented cartoon illustrator, made 3d pieces, played guitar and loved woodworking, all long lost now . Selling cards , artworks, cakes and some wonderful gifts ,made by friends we made £1,200 for Parkinson’s UK . Research is vital ,we hope our contribution will help in some way to find a cure . Thank you to all our friends who made this event so successful their support was greatly appreciated. Chartwell Manor Care home staff ,
have been extremely helpful and always amazing , we couldn’t have done any of this without them especially Carol ,one of the Lifestyle team . by @dihammo

My lovely Mum ,Nancy Knowles ,in Ripon probably when she 20 years old . She was a wonderful mum 🥰 . She was probably on her way to the post office where she worked on the counter ,she could add up a column of numbers so quickly. She was still riding her bike in Ripon when she was 70 !! by @dihammo
