English below

5-room apartment, 240 sqm including the balcony 🖤
This was a particularly challenging project. Why, you ask?
Imagine this: the apartment owners hired an interior designer for a full renovation. Then a tenant moves in and requests my services to furnish the entire apartment. But many design decisions had already been made during the renovation, shaping the overall look and feel of the home.

My job? To delicately balance and respect the choices of the property owners while creating a home that meets the tenant’s needs and desires.

You might be thinking, “Why invest so much in a rental apartment and hire an interior designer at all?”
Flash news – this apartment is your home right now. Your everyday life. Who knows for how many years?

The more you invest in it, the more comfortable it becomes, the better your daily life will be. ✨ by @dikla.design

The most central place in the home - where everything happens ✨
Or at least the kitchen’s worthy rival 😉
Where we lounge, rest, watch TV, build puzzles by the fireplace, host friends…
meet the living room 🛋️

Your Walls Are Talking – What Are They Saying?

Wall art can be anything – affordable or luxurious, Humorous or profound, abstract or realistic. A beautiful landscape, a personal photo, or even a bold statement piece can turn a plain wall into a reflection of you.

It’s that personal touch that transforms a house into a home. A bare wall feels empty, unfinished – like something’s missing. But once you hang a photo, a painting, a clock, or plant, the whole energy changes. Suddenly, your space has character, warmth, and soul.

Here are a few tips to choose the right art for your home:
• Stick to a color palette that flows with the room
• Choose pieces that makes you feel good– art should energize and inspire you.
• Go for meaningful pieces – family memories or symbols that matter to the people who live there.
• Mind the proportions – art should complement the wall size and furniture, not overwhelm or disappear.
• Placement matters! Use art to create a focal point, just like you would with lighting.

Make sure you are putting thought, time, and effort into choosing your wall art for your home, wall art brings it all together.

Make your walls speak your story 🖼️📖

Starting something new is so challenging. Jumping in… from so many directions. Who am I? What am I doing? Ugh, it’s hard.
But there’s something magical about new beginnings.
A kind of magic that only they hold—the anticipation, the excitement of the unknown… the chance to create something that didn’t exist before.

It’s exactly like starting a new interior design or home styling project.
The page is blank, just waiting for us to draw the future on it—what it will look like, which colors we’ll choose, the materials, the shapes…
That before-and-after transformation—it gives me butterflies. It excites me in a way that’s hard to explain.

And that feeling?
It’s what makes my career change totally worth all the doubts and fears that come with a new beginning.

Bringing Life Into Your Home – The Power of Plants 🌿🌱🌻

There’s something magical about plants in interior design. They don’t just decorate a space – they breathe life into it

Here are a few tips for styling plants in your home:
– Try grouping a few together: one trailing from a basket, another growing tall in a ceramic pot.
– Mix different heights, shades of green, and pot styles to create interest.
– Place them beside a still object like a sculpture or a vintage piece – it adds beautiful contrast.
– Don’t be afraid to go big – large plants make a strong impact and elevate the entire room.

I never use plastic plants in my designs. I love working with a generous amount of real, living plants – they bring color, movement, and soul into any space.

Plants symbolize life. They add vibrancy, freshness, and beauty that no artificial element can replace.

see how I style plants in my own spaces – and get inspired to green up your home!
