"Döngü"
Rengin değişir, ses belirir
konuşamazsın.
Vardır bir karın ağrın,
anlatamazsın.
Anlamazlar mı?
Böyle yendim;
Dene, yanıl, kalk, tekrar.
Dene, yanıl, kalk, tekrar.
Tutun, sarıl, yanıl, tekrar.
Sev, yanıl, hüzün, tekrar.
Düş, otur, düşün, kalkma
-bak etrafındaki kalabalığa-
O treni kaçırırsa hayatın sonuymuş gibi
hayatsız gölgeler
bak arkana
her yerdeler.
Dizlerin yara bere
hala yerdeler.

We are very glad to announce Dila Yavuz (@dilayavuz ) as the opening act for Dilan Balkay (@pelesenkville ) on 03.10. at Altes Pfandhaus, Cologne

Born and raised in Istanbul and now based in Cologne, Dila Yavuz is a singer whose musical language moves between jazz and the rich musical traditions of Turkey. With Turkish lyrics at the heart of her work, she brings together different influences, stories and sounds, creating an intimate space where music reaches beyond language barriers.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Jazz in Istanbul, Dila continued her musical journey in Cologne, where she earned her master’s degree in Jazz Singing at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Her work reflects both her roots and her experiences across different places and musical worlds, combining the freedom and openness of jazz with the emotional depth of Turkish music.

We’re very happy to have her opening this evening before Dilan Balkay takes the stage.
