I haven’t been active on this account in quite some time, and I wanted to come back because this was my safe space. A place where I could share my thoughts, feelings, creations, and desires. No longer posting here has felt like no longer feeling safe to enjoy all of those things too.

But then I questioned myself - who am I?

Who exactly would I be reintroducing to the small community I found here?

The answer was, I don’t know.

I feel lost, uncertain in my career and with my life choices. I’m just me. Ali - Alisha - an almost 30 something woman who longs for connection and community in a world constantly being bombarded with negativity.

I want to forge a new identity, one of self love, patience, and humility. Healing won’t happen overnight, but neither did the wounds I bleed from.

I’m almost 29, starting life again.

It’s not perfect, in fact, it’s more than messy.

I’m not even sure if I’m doing the right thing.

I feel called to teach, to share. To teach women not to make the same mistakes I have.

But have I really learnt from them?
What is my purpose?
What am I good at?
What brought me joy as a child?

What can I really share that would have an impact on other people’s lives?

I don’t know my offering yet, but I know I have more to give.

I’ll be figuring that out, hopefully with you by my side 🤍
