What a year 2025 was...from endless adventures with great people to archery competitions to several new experiences. Ready to take on 2026! #travel #archery #hunting #adventure by @dillanmetzner
2022 was an absolute dream 14 states, 47,000 miles flown, and endless adventures. Here’s to more adventures and bigger things in 2023! 🎉 by @dillanmetzner
Wednesday morning was one heck of a morning, between bugling bulls, cold fall mornings and bagging myself an Idaho unicorn. Doesn't get much better. Did a last minute switch to a different rifle and the @sigsauerinc 6.5 prc cross paired with a @silencerco sythe Ti did not disappoint. A 615 yard shot and this 5x5 bull was filling my freezer Yes my face says it all on how the packout went #idahohunting #sigsauer #65prc by @dillanmetzner
Magic Mountain 3D shoot was a blast, took 2nd in Championship Outlaw class. Tied for 1st and made a silly mistake for closest to center shoot off, did not follow my 1st rule of archery "Don't second guess yourself" Also really bad at taking pictures during the shoot 😂 , shot my @hoyttargetarchery AX-2 paired with my Altra 23s. Couldn't ask for a better combo by @dillanmetzner
Vegas 2026 is over, and man was it a great shoot. This year I had one goal in mind and that was to make flight 1 of the modern bowhunter class and did just that. Not only did I set a new personal best overall score of 894/900 with 52X and a single game score of 299/20X , I was able to manage a 4th place victory against some of the best archers around the world. Grateful I get to do this event with my dad and great friends as well as meet new archers around the world. I'm ready for next year! #thevegasshoot2026 #altraarrows #archerylife by @dillanmetzner
Thats a wrap for the Utah Open..came in 4th. Overall I'm happy with how I shot, Day 2 was a bit rough however thats archery sometimes. One more indoor tournament, then I can finally switch to outdoor Let's bring on the Vegas shoot #utahopen #roadtovegas by @dillanmetzner
Shot in the Idaho Open over the weekend @pocatellofield, shot great the first day..second day rolled around and fell apart the second half. Managed a 2nd place finish, found a few things to work on before the Utah Open this weekend by @dillanmetzner
Put the Vegas target aside for the weekend and shot at the Northwest Sectionals in Pinedale. Day 1 shot a 299/56X dropped one arrow in the last end, Day 2 shot a 300/54X. Always great when i can get away and shoot with my dad. Thats enough 5Spot for the year, Vegas targets are more fun Recently switched to shooting the @altraarrows Centrum premier 27s and have been thoroughly impressed on their performance and consistency by @dillanmetzner
Great day to shoot a 450 at the @blackfootriverbowmenofficial Frosty 450. Shots felt super good with the Hoyt Concept X, finished with a 442 28x, enough for a 2nd place finish in the Bowhunter class. by @dillanmetzner
