Introducing @dillect__

Dillect is a DJ and producer from Arnhem with a love for techno. To him, techno holds the same place in music that abstract art has in painting. According to Dillect, techno presents the idea of groove in its most abstract form and can — if one is open to it — be the ultimate platform for self-expression. He strives to convey this philosophy in his sets. His goal is always to make the dance floor lose track of time while dancing, whether through deep and hypnotizing tracks or more funky and hardgroove techno. by @dillect__

Deluge EP [ARRX016] by @dillect__ is out now on all platforms.

The release features 4 original tracks from Dillect, moving between hypnotic tension and groove-led energy, alongside a remix by Deranged that brings a more direct and driving take to the EP.

Built with the dancefloor in mind, the record shifts from deeper, immersive moments to more playful and rolling rhythms, offering a versatile selection for different points of a set.

Latest premieres are up on our page and also via Polish Technology.

Big thanks to @veiga______ for the mastering and @miguelfialho11 for the visual aspects surrounding the project. Special thanks to @derangedtechno for joining the release.

As the release date draws closer, attention turns to @dillect__ and his upcoming EP Deluge [ARRX016].

Hailing from Arnhem, Dillect is a DJ and producer with a deep-rooted passion for techno. Influenced by the 00’s and 10’s era and today’s resurgence of old-school sounds, his music blends detailed sound design with club-focused functionality, built to move bodies while remaining effective in the mix.

Returning to Algumritmo Records following his collaboration Muck with @vivace_dj on the label’s previous VA, Dillect now steps forward with a full EP that further defines his direction.

Deluge EP explores different shades of techno across five tracks, balancing hypnotic depth with groove-driven energy while maintaining a clear and cohesive flow.

Full release on Friday, March 27.
Pre-order via link in bio.

#99C018

Thrilled to finally share the 18th track from the 99c BANGERS series this time with the talented artist @cliffvissers 🖤

Dillect is a DJ and producer from Arnhem with a love for techno music. To him, techno holds the same place in music that abstract art has in painting. According to Dillect, techno presents the idea of groove in its most abstract form. Four-on-the-floor kickdrums then tie together this vast realm of possibilities, creating the structure for infinite self-expression to whoever embraces it. He tries to convey this philosophy into his own productions. His club-centric music revolves around unique sound design with elements that all try to get you to move your body. He is influenced by techno from the 00’s to 10’s but also gains a lot of inspiration from today’s resurgence of the old-school sound.

𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐓 - Dillect is one of the few that sent demos when we asked what "Future Groove" meant for producers 💚 The result is a striped down track that is as effective as it is minimal. We're super excited that he is now part of the label, here is his portrait!
