It’s been days removed since the AVBOB FCJ Excellence Awards and I still cannot wrap my head around it.

I’m immensely proud to share that I’m the recipient of the Alet Roux Trophy for Best Young Journalist 🏆🎉.

Firstly, I give all thanks and glory to God because without him, I would never have gotten to this point.

I would also like to dedicate this award to my mom, her constant support and love spurs me on every day💗

I also want to dedicate this award to my dad. I hope I can forever make you proud. Love and miss you always🤍

I am also immensely grateful for every single one of my family and friends for always being there for me through every high and low 🫶🏽

Onwards and upwards🚀
