The Long Awaited Gift for Myself

The story started when I ordered a special gift for someone to H2H @handmadetohappiness . After bouncing off ideas with Mba @alovelypaw (the artist behind H2H) about the background of the person I will give the gift to, the design concept, the possible items that suits his personality. Yadda yadda yadda, she came back to me with this “Sate Ondomohen” illustration.

There is no problem with the design. I just thought to myself, “I don't see it screams that person's name enough, instead it screams me, ‘Dimach’! (lol)". It would become such a wasted beauty, tho, if we were to change it entirely. So instead I asked her to make another design, and kept this “Sate Ondomohen” for me.

Honestly, I've been eyeing Mba Septin’s work for a long time. You can say that i’m a fan of her arts. I already have some of her previous works, but the ones that are ready stock and not customized. I always wanted to order, but haven't found the right moment. And that moment came to me totally unplanned. Yeayyy, finally ya, Mba Sept. I’m a happy (and lucky) customer.

Customized gifts just hit different. it's personal. That personal touch and the details make it all wayyy priceless, at least to me. I prefer it that way. So if you you want to give a special gift for yourself or someone else, if you have the time and energy (it’s a long process but worth it), check @handmadetohappiness. Mba Septin will definitely be happy to help you turn your intangible thoughts into not-only-tangible but also beautiful and wearable items like the one in the video. by @dimachputra

Everytime you see yourself in a magazine or any other media platforms that give you the opportunity to be known and heard, it's simply just a reminder to be grateful.

That you are valued and appreciated.

That what you do (somewhat) matters and more or less it adds something to the society.

Unboxing My New Kimi Babies

When I learned that @kimilatta opened a new batch of pre-order slots for their latest "Itsy Gypsy" collection, I contacted the owner. I asked them if it was possible to make a small adjustment to one of the articles in their collection to be somewhat inspired by “Tridatu Bracelet”. (Guess, i was still infatuated with Bali charm when i made the order. Lol).

They said yes. We decided to use the red, white and black color combination which is the signature of “Tridatu”. The owner also offered me if I was interested in getting another item. A mysterious bracelet, which at that time, the design was still in question (?). To which I replied, “Okay, then. Surprise me with your creativity".

Needless to say, I’m very much pleased with the result! Love them, both the tridatu inspired - as well as the mysterious bracelet. They go well to be stacked together! 💕✨ by @dimachputra

S I B L I N G H O O D

Not too shabby for a squad, eh?

For 7 years i was raised as the last child. The youngest among others at Nana’s house (we lived there at that time). And then the lil bro came into the world. Followed by the birth of our cute baby sister 2 years later.

On our best days, we may look this cool, calm and collected, as seen in the picture. But for most of the times, we do quarrel with each other. A lot. Even up to this day!

We don’t get to choose our family. We were just born into one and grown together. It doesn’t belittle the fact that blood is indeed thicker than water. As siblings are stuck with each other, so we always stick together! by @dimachputra

Embracing The Rainbow in Me

I am this, I am that.
Not just plain black and white.

I'm a storm, but mostly just a breeze blowing through.
Like a flag, I'm a combination of red and blue.

I can be mellow, then escalated to wildly obscene.
Though i prefer yellow, I still like the shade of green.

Your world is black and white.
Everything is either wrong or right.
Mine is way much more complex than that.
There are grey area, in betweens, it is indeed mad!

Nevertheles, i choose the world of technicolor over monocromatic.
Call me ignorant, but i consider myself as an eccentric.
