I met the strongest version of myself that I didn’t know existed.

August 14, 2026, not only did my life change forever, but I experienced a huge shift in identity. It hasn’t been easy but it has been so rewarding. I went from being someone who chased a broadcasting dream with everything in me to now simply wanting to be the best mother I can be for my son. Although the dream is still there, it certainly been pushed to the back.

Pushing through early labor, laboring at home all week, and arriving at the hospital already in transition taught me just how strong God created me to be. I was in so much pain, but the excitement of finally meeting you in this earthly realm kept me balanced. There were moments I didn’t know if I could do it, but by His grace, I did.

I have to give myself my flowers. Motherhood has shown me a strength, love, and purpose I never knew existed. And above all, I give God all the praise for allowing not only me to make it through safely, but my son as well.

Demetrius, you changed my life in the most beautiful way. Becoming your mother will forever be my greatest blessing and my most important assignment. 🩵 by @dimeontv

A title I never planned on having, but one that means more to me than I could have ever imagined.

When I first found out about you, I was scared. I questioned everything and wondered if I was ready. But the moment I heard your heartbeat—so strong and steady—a love formed in me that I never knew that was inside me.

God knew I needed you long before I knew I needed you. You came into my life with purpose, and you’ve already changed my heart in ways I never thought possible.

Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy. I haven’t even held you in my arms yet, but you have already made me a better woman. I can’t wait to meet you, love you, and spend my life showing you just how special you are.

As we count down the final days until we meet our son, I can’t help but reflect on how much life has changed already. Before we ever saw your face, you gave us a new purpose, a deeper love, and so many dreams for the future.

Every kick, every sleepless night, every prayer, and every moment has been leading us to you. Soon, you’ll no longer be the little heartbeat I’ve carried for months—you’ll be in our arms, and our lives will never be the same.

Our sweet boy, we’ve been waiting for you with so much love. We can’t wait to hear your first cry, hold your tiny hands, and begin this beautiful new chapter as your parents.
