Special thanks to our friend @inertwong for her article in @allrecipes on Dim Sum and Drag! We feel so lucky to have run this show for 5 years (and counting!) and are grateful for every single person who has celebrated Asian drag with us. Happy pride and cheers to all of our queer and trans siblings out there 🥳 by @dimsumanddrag

The Dim Sum and Drag team is proud to showcase so many talented Asian drag artists and have so much support from our patrons. We feel that because of our platform, as Asian artists, it is important that we show our full and unwavering support for Palestine and Palestinian people and their right to live on free and unoccupied land. We condemn the acts of Israel and all who support and remain neutral while they commit genocide. If you want to learn more about why we support Palestine, please take a look at the following slides/our bio for resources and calls to action.

Thank you @the48thward @chicagosmayor for inviting me to City Hall to receive recognition for Dim Sum & Drag at today’s Pride Resolution 🌈🥲

I love Uptown, Edgewater, and the entire 48th Ward of Chicago so much. Being able to create @dimsumanddrag at @furamachicago is such a special treat.

I first explored Uptown with @pettymogul and @jforpay back in 2014 or so, when Petty was showing me the neighborhood she grew up in. A neighborhood of African and Asian diaspora, with so much queer culture sewn into it.

I’d love to thank the entire Dim Sum & Drag team — @luvamistoole @auntycherrychan @jforpay @pbthankyou @tikivonte @mercythemare @javi_monae @ty_yamamoto1 @clubchow @djriyariya 🥟🥢 all my drag kids of eternally inspiring me, and Loren & Bambi for always encouraging me to achieve my dream 💋

I really do feel like the mayor of argyle street :) taken in Chicago City Hall by @dimsumanddrag
