NEW TO THE BODYROCK LINEUP. NOT NEW TO THE GAME. Dina makes her BODYROCK debut this year, and while this may be her first time on our schedule, she’s been part of Pittsburgh’s fitness scene for years, bringing the experience, talent + technique to prove it.

Dina is kicking things off at 9AM in the Main Studio with Pure Barre Classic Fusion: 30 minutes of the signature Pure Barre technique, where small, precise movements inspired by yoga, Pilates + ballet deliver that low-impact, high-intensity burn we know and love.

Start the day strong, shake a little + let Dina take it from there.

I never had a dog growing up. I had hermit crabs, goldfish, caterpillars, grasshoppers, an iguana, a pet chicken (!!) and a Senegal parrot (who is still terrorizing the world with his presence!)

When I was 26, I went to the local humane society to “just look” at puppies and among all of the jumping, barking and yapping dogs fighting for attention was a tiny squirrelly thing tucked in a corner minding her own business. The minute the volunteers put her into my arms was love at first sight. I adopted Stella that very day.

Stella slept in my bed and was by my side from that very first night, for 16 years and change. Through 4 homes, 5 jobs, countless adventures and more, she was by my side, as well as Anthony’s.

I have mentally prepared myself for this day but nothing could prepare me for the reality of losing the first dog I ever had, my soul dog, my sweet Stella.

I know that she lived the best life and she loved every single person she ever met. She never met a treat that she didn’t like. She let me dress her in silly Halloween costumes, loved her yard, tolerated children & posed for 284940828394 pictures from day 1 until her last moments that I will forever treasure.

So hug your fur babies close today and forever and send out some love to my baby Stella. by @dina125

First time at Bodyrock and let me tell you,
the experience was 1000/10! Getting to meet so many other friends in the Pittsburgh fitness community & share all that Pure Barre is about with the city was incredible. Here’s to a great year, more to come & a reminder that Pure Barre has been around for 25+ years for a reason 😘

• Went to the swamp & met some gators, raccoon babies, and an Eastern Lubber
