The cards had a message last night, and the binoculars made sure we didn’t miss it! 🔮👀

Last night at Spirited Away, between the Halloween costumes, the Tarot and charm readings, one combination of cards caught my attention.

The Ace of Swords, Ace of Wands, The Chariot, and The Star. Two Aces and two Major Arcana! That’s a powerful combination of fresh ideas, new beginnings, determination, and believing in what’s possible.

And then, out of all the charms in my bowl, came a tiny pair of binoculars!

That little charm brought the message together. The cards were pointing toward new possibilities, and the binoculars added a reminder to look beyond what’s right in front of us.

And there’s a message here for all of us.

Pay attention to what inspires you. Trust your ideas, believe in what’s possible, and be willing to take action.

The binoculars remind us to keep the bigger picture in sight, but The Chariot reminds us that we still have to move forward.

Because seeing the possibilities is one thing. Making them happen is another. ✨ taken in Brooklyn, New York by @dinaberrin

✨ New Moon in Libra | October 10 ✨

“It’s fine.”

Two little words that sometimes mean anything but. 😂

Libra is the sign of relationships, balance, fairness, and harmony. It wants everyone to get along, which sounds lovely in theory, but gets a lot more complicated in real life.

Tomorrow’s New Moon in Libra invites us to look more closely at the balance in our relationships.

And with Venus, Libra’s ruling planet, retrograde in Scorpio, there’s another layer to explore. What do we really value? What do we need? And what have we been overlooking just to keep things comfortable?

And I’m not just talking about romance.

Think friendships, family, colleagues, and yes, even our relationships with ourselves.

There’s compromise, and then there’s always being the one who compromises.

There’s being kind, and then there’s being so afraid of disappointing someone that you go silent.

And there’s keeping the peace. But is it really peace if you never feel it inside?

This New Moon isn’t about finding something, or someone, new. It might be about looking at the relationships already in our lives and asking whether the balance still feels right.

Balance doesn’t mean everything has to be 50/50 all the time; relationships aren’t math problems.

Sometimes one person gives more, sometimes the other does. But over time, everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, and like their needs matter, too.

✨ And there’s a little numerology magic here, too.

This New Moon falls on 10/10.

In numerology, 10 reduces to 1: initiative, independence, and new beginnings. With 0 representing possibility and potential, 10/10 reminds us we can always choose to do something differently.

Maybe it isn’t about changing the people in our lives.

Maybe it’s about changing how we show up.

Be a little more honest, speak up when something matters, and remember that our needs count, too.

And the best part? None of that requires starting an argument, ending a friendship, or making a dramatic announcement.

Sometimes it begins with a simple realization:
Keeping the peace shouldn’t mean losing your own peace.

💬 What does a balanced relationship look like to you?

How often do we say, “That’s just who I am”?

I’m the responsible one.
I’m the one who keeps everyone happy.
I’m the one who takes care of everything.

What if some of the things we think are part of our personality are just patterns we’ve practiced for a long time?

Maybe they helped us at one point, made us feel safe, useful, needed, or appreciated.

If we learned and practiced one thing, we can also practice something different.

What’s something you’ve always thought was “just who you are”?

The Three of Swords gets a bad rap, but this card means more than pain.

Sure, it can mean heartbreak or disappointment. But I’m more interested in the story we tell ourselves about what happened, and whether we’re still carrying that story.

That’s the magic I love exploring with tarot. The card is just the start; the real transformation happens in the conversation.

Want to dive deeper into the Three of Swords?

Check out this week’s newsletter and my latest YouTube video, both linked in my bio.

What story are you ready to look at differently?

Libra season has entered the chat, and it has opinions about your outfit, your relationships, and your dinner plans.

Venus, the planet of beauty, relationships, and pleasure, rules Libra. So consider this your reminder to make a little more room for what you enjoy.

✨Freshen up your space.
✨Wear the outfit.
✨Accept the dinner invitation.
✨Flirt a little.
✨Go somewhere you love.

Libra may get a lot of attention for balance, but that doesn’t mean giving everything equal time.

It means noticing what deserves more of your energy and what has been getting too much of it.

⬆️ More time with people you enjoy.
⬆️ More beauty in the everyday.
⬆️ More fun just because.

👍And fewer yeses that should have been nos.

You don’t need a special occasion.

Libra season is the occasion. Say yes. by @dinaberrin

Some things take an hour. Others take the same amount of time but stay with you all day.

That’s why finding balance isn’t only about how we spend our time.

With the Equinox coming up, I’ve been thinking about balance a little differently.

We often think of the Equinox as the moment when day and night are perfectly equal. But even that isn’t quite true.

Because of the way sunrise and sunset are measured, and the way Earth’s atmosphere bends sunlight, we get a little more daylight than darkness.

Even nature’s balancing act comes with fine print. 🍂

That’s a good reminder for the rest of us.
Balance doesn’t mean giving everything the same amount of time.

It’s about noticing what gets our time, our energy, and possibly too much space in our minds.

As we move into a new season, it’s worth asking:
What still deserves your time and energy?
What doesn’t?
And what are you doing because you want to, rather than simply out of habit?

No big life overhaul required.

Sometimes one small shift can create more room than we’d think.

So here’s the Equinox question: What feels out of balance right now, and what small change might help? ☀️

P.S. I went down a bit of an Equinox rabbit hole this week, including why the Equinox isn’t actually equal day and night. I wrote about it in this week’s newsletter. Link in comments. 🍂 by @dinaberrin

I spent today doing readings at a corporate event on the 81st floor of the World Trade Center, and I loved every minute of it.

One of my favorite parts was how many men sat down for their very first reading. They were curious, open, and ready to jump in - asking questions, pulling charms, and making connections.

There were a few “Wait…how did you know that?” looks, which never get old.

With every person bringing something completely different to the table, I found it interesting that one card showed up (a lot!), the Eight of Pentacles.

It’s message was simple, and that’s why I’m sharing it here with you:
You don’t have to have it all figured out to make progress.

Most things worth building happen a little at a time.

You can still be figuring it out and be proud of how far you’ve come.

What would change if you stopped fighting who you are?

That’s just one of the powerful ideas intuitive guide Dina Berrin and I explored on the latest episode of Lighten UP! The Art of Living Clutter Free.

We talked about numerology, astrology, self-understanding, relationships, and the many ways our emotional clutter can keep us from trusting ourselves.

🌑 The Virgo New Moon has entered the chat… and, it has notes.

The New Moon in Virgo is the perfect excuse to scan your life for what could use a quick edit.

Not a complete overhaul or a whole new you, just some refinement.

Virgo has a knack for zeroing in on what could work better. What’s taking more time or energy than it needs to? What have you outgrown but keep doing anyway? Where could life be a little simpler?

The trick with Virgo is not turning that helpful feedback into a running list of self-critique.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about paying attention.

So instead of asking, “What do I need to fix?” try asking:

“What would make my life work better?”

Then pick one thing. Not twelve. (Virgo, I’m looking at you. 😂)

One small change or adjustment that makes your days a little easier, simpler, or more satisfying.

That’s enough for a New Moon. 🌑✨

What’s one thing you’d like to refine? by @dinaberrin

This summer, Rocky has two speeds: sound asleep or laser-focused. Lately, all that focus is for one destination.

Every afternoon, Rocky sets the route to the same patch of Central Park: Frisbee Hill.

And let’s be clear: Rocky is not going for the scenery.

He’s going for Larry.

More specifically, Larry’s legendary pouch of cooked chicken. 🐶🍗

Larry is a neighborhood icon, showing up like clockwork with chicken for any dog looking for a treat.

After a couple of afternoons, Rocky figured out where his new best friend sits.

Now Rocky heads there, tail wagging, often before I spot Larry on the grass.

I started thinking about how quickly that ritual became second nature.

At first, it was a discovery. Then we did it again. Somewhere along the way, Rocky stopped needing my guidance—he just knew the way.

That’s when it hit me: this is the Eight of Pentacles in action.

Some call it the card of hard work, but to me, it’s the card of practice. Its what happens when we return to something until it becomes part of us.

We’re all practicing something: patience, presence, kindness, how we talk to ourselves, or how we greet a new day.

Over time, those little choices stop feeling like choices and they become part of who we are.

Rocky looks like he’s practicing his commitment to sniffing out the man with the chicken. 😂

As we head into September, maybe the question isn’t:
What do I want to accomplish?

Maybe it’s:
What am I practicing?

That’s what I’m exploring in this week’s newsletter. With a little help from Rocky, Larry, and that magical pouch of chicken. 🍗✨

Not everything needs to make sense before you let it go. This Pisces lunar eclipse may make that very clear.

The Full Moon in Pisces rises Thursday night into Friday morning with a partial lunar eclipse, putting a spotlight on what’s been quietly asking to be released.

Sometimes you know a relationship has changed, a chapter is finished, something doesn’t fit anymore, or it’s time to stop forcing an answer.

But knowing and explaining are two different things.

Pisces is intuitive, emotional, and deeply sensitive. It’s the part of us that feels something before we can explain it.

Across the sky, the Virgo Sun wants facts, plans, answers, and preferably something we can put on the calendar.

So one part says, I know.
The other says, Yes, but can we get some supporting documentation?

That tension is at the heart of this Full Moon.

Full moons illuminate. In astrology, eclipses are often associated with endings, realizations, and changes that have already been taking shape beneath the surface.

Pisces offers another reminder:
The most important truths don’t always arrive as facts. Sometimes they arrive as a feeling.

There may not be an answer about what comes next yet.

There doesn’t have to be.

Instead of making this Full Moon about manifesting something new, maybe it’s a chance to clear some space, for rest, release, or breathing a little easier.

Ask:
What am I finally ready to set down, stop fixing, or let be?

Then notice the first answer.

Sometimes we know more than we can explain.
