Excited to officially welcome Carino to the family 🩷

Thank you so much to everyone who made this purchase happen, especially to both of my parents, everyone who was so helpful in Germany and Sergey. I am beyond grateful to now own this incredible gelding!

Sadly this does mean that my time with Poker is coming to a close, but I am so thankful to have ridden and learned on him up to this point

Very grateful for the past two weeks of showing, even though we were not able to compete the whole time.

Tbird has been a show I’ve been looking forward to bringing Carino to since we brought him home, and it’s safe to say he absolutely loved it and we both gained so much from the opportunity! From Carino stepping back up to the meters, to gaining more confident rounds in multiple rings, I am extremely happy with how things went.

Thank you endlessly to everyone for the constant support, the whole @powers_equestrian team for never failing to show up, and to @juliamichalewicz for taking such good care of Carino for the few days I wasn’t there. Of course, thank you to @stephanypowers26 for the incredible coaching and for always putting Carino’s well being first. And most importantly, thank you to both of my parents for continuing to support the both of us taken in Thunderbird Show Park by @dinaedup.eq

Spruce meadows May classic 2026

Carino jumped phenomenally all week, finishing off with a clear round on Sunday! The past few months leading up to now has been a lot of work to improve both Carino and I’s confidence and ensuring Carino is comfortable and happy. This week Carino jumped around without hesitation, taking care of the both of us when situations weren’t 100% perfect. If you’ve known Carino and I’s journey over the past 2 years, this is a huge win for the both of us! I am so excited for the rest of the show season, and can’t wait to continue to watch us improve

So proud of Carino these past two weeks at Rocky Mountain Classic II and lll! Carino showed so much improvement every day and has really started to gain more confidence

May Classic - Spruce Meadows

Carino was perfect this past week @spruce_meadows! It was a really good learning experience for both Carino and I as we worked on our trust and confidence in the show ring. We produced better rounds each day and finished off super proud and happy!

Spruce Meadows Spring welcome was definitely a really good learning experience. Unfortunately the show didn’t go quite as planned, but we finished off with a really nice schooling ride on Sunday to finish the week! I’m endlessly grateful from all the support from the take off team and to Sergey and @suehwaters for helping me navigate through everything
