Kaohsiung, I miss you already✨️

From being amazed by the grand stages and beautiful architecture of Weiwuying, to learning and sharing movement practices and cultures with 16 artists from different places. Our co-learning sessions were a little tiring, but such a meaningful and fun experience, and I loved getting to know everyone beyond our artistic practices.

A little beach escape with Minting and Kai in the middle of our preparations was such a beautiful memory🌊🦀🐚🥥 We discussed our group presentation, played with the waves, and enjoyed a little time away from the studio. As someone who always looks for the beach wherever I go, I was so happy to find the sea in Kaohsiung.

On our final day, we shared our beach experience, stories, and cultures with the audience. For our presentation, the three of us returned to our own bodies and movement practices, working with repetition while bringing different movements and techniques from our own artistic backgrounds. It was so special to exchange perspectives on our lives and the performing arts in Taiwan and Indonesia, and to connect with the audience more closely through our experiences and movements.

Thank you to MeimageDance, 2026 Dance Now Asia, all the artists, the audience, and everyone at Weiwuying for these beautiful days filled with learning, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

I miss Taiwan. I miss Kaohsiung. Hope to see you again soon🤍

Taipei, a journey I will always remember 🇹🇼✨

This was my first time traveling abroad to present my piece SUAI : The Gaze Can't Dress Me. Honestly, before the trip, I had so many fears and doubts. There were so many things I didn't know, so many things I worried about, and of course questions about whether I was truly ready to take this step.

But once I arrived in Taipei, those feelings slowly turned into happiness and wonder. Meeting artists from different places, listening to their stories, witnessing their works, and being in a space that brought together so many different perspectives and experiences made me realize just how vast the world of performing arts is. It was truly amazing.

There was so much to learn, so many stories to share, and so many possibilities I had never even imagined before.

This experience reminded me that sometimes, we just need to be brave enough to take one step forward, even when we are still carrying fear and doubt. We never really know what is waiting for us out there until we allow ourselves to go and experience it.

My deepest gratitude to MeimageDance and 2026 Dance Now Asia @meimagedance for creating this opportunity and providing such a meaningful space for artists to share their works, experiences, and perspectives.

Thank you to everyone who supported me and helped make this journey possible. To my producer @ist.i___ , my friends, family and everyone who offered their support, help, time, and trust even before I left, I truly appreciate you. I know I didn't get here on my own, and I am so grateful to have experienced this journey with your support 🤍

And, of course, thank you to all the artists I met in Taipei. Thank you for sharing your works, stories, energy, and perspectives. I came home with a full heart, so much to reflect on, and memories I will carry with me for a long time.

This is just one step in my journey, but a very meaningful one.

Melalui SUAI: The Gaze Can’t Dress Me, Dinda Sulisna dan Istifadah Nur Rahma mengeksplorasi bagaimana berbagai tatapan: agama, budaya, sosial, hingga media membentuk cara perempuan melihat dan memahami tubuhnya. Berangkat dari pengalaman perempuan berhijab, karya ini kemudian berkembang menjadi pertanyaan yang lebih luas tentang tubuh, agensi, dan pilihan.

Dalam Reels ini, Dinda dan Isti berbagi tentang proses Work in Progress mereka serta apa yang berubah dalam perjalanan mengikuti Lab Inkubasi Keproduseran.

Setiap karya lahir dari pertemuan berbagai perspektif. Dalam Lab Inkubasi Keproduseran, kami mengundang produser dan seniman untuk mengembangkan karya secara bersama, melalui dialog, pembacaan ulang, dan proses yang saling menguatkan.

Berkenalan dengan pasangan peserta pertama: Istifadah Nur Rahma sebagai produser dan Dinda Sulisna sebagai seniman mitra. Berangkat dari praktik seni interdisipliner dan koreografi, keduanya akan mengembangkan sebuah gagasan karya yang berpijak pada pengalaman, tubuh, serta pembacaan kritis terhadap konteks sosial yang melingkupinya.

Selama satu bulan ke depan, mereka akan mengikuti rangkaian materi, bengkel kerja, dan pendampingan bersama fasilitator serta narasumber untuk mempertajam strategi keproduseran sekaligus mengembangkan kemungkinan hidup karya yang sedang mereka bangun.

Mari ikuti perjalanan mereka selama #LabInkubasiKeproduseran2026.
