BMO got some friends: Frog King & Charmander.

I really enjoyed this little side project, but I don't think it's something I'll be doing very often.

Right now, I really want to learn how to knit sweaters and focus on my crochet projects. I don't draw as much anymore—textiles have definitely become my favorite creative medium.

A friend gifted me an earring-making workshop for my birthday. We made earrings out of Fimo clay and honestly, to my surprise, it was really easy. It was basically just rolling out the clay and pressing shapes into it. I was the only one who went for weird little shapes, so mine were very easy to recognize once they came out of the oven.

After that we coated them with resin, assembled and bent everything into place, and finally put them on the earring cards. Simple, but really fun.

And honestly? Probably a lot easier to make at your own kitchen table than in a bigger group like this 😅

(I wouldn’t recommend putting all your resin-coated pieces under the lamp at the same time. It’s much better to cure them one by one, otherwise the resin can start shrinking and the finish won’t turn out as nicely. Resin is pretty specific to work with, so doing each piece individually works a lot better, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible this time.)

BMO!

I gave cross-stitching a try. I haven’t done embroidery in years, and this stitch is new to me, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. Still a lot to learn, but I might start making some patches for my scouting blouse. by @dineaus.art

Crochet scarf.
I made two others as well, one knit and one crochet, but the pictures are too cursed and I don't want to model them myself. The tree pics are already lowkey weird haha.
