Maple Bourbon Pumpkin Spice Ribs These turned out way better than I expected. These might be some of the best ribs iv made in a long time. The homemade pumpkin spice rub wasn’t too overpowering, it actually reminded me of Indonesian flavours but paired with that Maple bourbon glaze and the fall of the bone tender rib. Absolute fire 🔥 Ingredients - 2 racks of ribs - 2 tbsp Dijon mustard ( binder ) Pumpkin spice BBQ rub - 1 tbsp ground cinnamon - 1 tsp ground ginger - 1 tsp ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp ground allspice - 1/2 tsp ground cloves - 3 tbsp brown sugar - 1 tbsp smoked paprika - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp onion powder - 1 tsp kosher salt - ½ tsp black pepper - ¼ tsp cayenne, optional Maple-bourbon glaze - ⅓ cup pure maple syrup - 2 tbsp BBQ sauce - 1 tbsp bourbon (optional) - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp butter - ½ tsp pumpkin spice - Pinch of salt Instructions Start by removing the membrane from your ribs if necessary. You can also just score the back. Season them up with your homemade pumpkin spice bbq rub. Throw them on the smoker at 225 for 3 hours spritzing them with apple juice every hour. At the 3 hour mark wrap them up with a little brown sugar, butter and maple syrup and place them back on the grill at 275 for another 2 hours. At the 2 hour mark remove the foil. Place the ribs on the grill and start to brush on your sauce. Let them go another 20 minutes then serve. by @dinewithdunn
