sometimes we often ignore the little blessings of life because it has become the norm but I hope you never stop being grateful. I hope you never forget that some people have got it harder. they don’t have enough food to eat, no families on their table to share a meal with. I hope you never forget that some people are sleeping with one of their eyes wide open because they are scared for their lives. I hope you never stop being grateful for what you’ve got🥹💛 . . . . . #whataprivilege #blackhistorymonth2025 by @dinewithprecious

Ingredients for Nigerian Porridge Beans brown or black-eyed beans onions pepper mix - bell peppers or shepherd pepper, onions, scotch bonnet shrimp powder or crayfish palm oil beef or chicken seasoning salt To cook the beans, simply soak for 2 hours before, rinse and cook in water till soft. Homecooked Ep23: How to make THE PERFECT GRILLED FISH (or Basa Steak as used in this video)! This recipe has been tested and used over and over again for seasoning fish that needs to be airfried or oven grilled and it works all the time and tastes amazing! You can grill your fish as part of your weekly meal prepping process and store them in the freezer for later! INGREDIENTS FOR SEASONING FISH Fish (of course, feel free to use any) Salt Garlic powder Hot dry pepper for heat (i used cameroun pepper because it’s delicious and hot. I get mine from @bcfoodandstores - this is not an ad but I know it’s not popular to find and someone might ask) Ginger powder Paprika Onion powder Thyme (or rosemary) Fish seasoning (or bullion cube if that’s what you’ve got) Chilli Flakes (optional but encouraged) Oven grilled - Grill in your oven for 30mins on each side for 400F° (the time depends on how flaky you want it to be so check after 20mins to be sure) Airfryer grill - Airfry for 25 mins(remember to flip after 12-13mins) at 385°F. ✨please use oil to slightly spray on the tray you intend to use for grilling because fish tend to stick sometimes to the grill and break.
