Solo date at @dintaifungcanada

This place is viral for a reason - it’s consistently good EVERY SINGLE TIME

Of course I can’t order all the dishes I’d like to on my solo date, so I had to have my 3 favourite dishes. If I wasn’t feeling the spicy wontons, I’d go for the chicken xiao long bao.

Going with a group, you can order a lot more and try different dishes. But sometimes you just need to go alone for those chocolate mochi XLB cravings 🍫🥟🥢

Probably one of my favourite happy hours in the city with their fresh espresso martinis and delicious bites. This was my first time having dinner here and the portions are quite large and filling. taken in Market Mall by @dinewithrukh

Delicious spread at @cafemedofficial ‘s newest location - how stunning is this space?!

We ordered:
- dynamite shrimp 🍤 (a definite must!)
- hot honey pepperoni pizza 🍕 (still dreaming of that crust)
- 2 mixed sharing grills 🍗
- fattoush 🥗
- tabbouleh 🥗
- karak tea 🫖
- mango tango smoothie 🥭

They taste exactly like candy - starts off sour until you reach the inner sweetness of the date to help balance the sourness. Definitely a great alternative if you have a candy obsession 🤪

Eats from @tasteofcalgary

We had a good amount of food and drinks. Although the weather and timing made it hard for us to try more, this year felt a bit limited in my opinion. The location was great (bigger), however, the restaurant variety felt limited compared to previous years. Because of the timing we went (Sunday evening) and the weather, many booths had already sold out and closed down.

My favourite booth was the @kahlua booth, serving a variety of kahlua cocktails. We tried the iced cappuccino and the iced mocha. Also you can’t go wrong with an OG shaft and Jungle juice from @thebanquetbaryyc by @dinewithrukh

Some of my favourite @thaisiammarket dishes. If you haven’t been to Thai Siam, you are missing out.

Not pictured but my absolute favourite: crispy fish with spicy chili sauce. DO NOT SKIP THIS. I PROMISE YOU.
