salam everyone 🤍, dengan izin allah yg mengizinkan saya membawa kandungan ini sampai bulan yg ke-9. alhamdulillah i’m entering my new phase of life, being a mother.

early this year, i felt something was off with my body. something was not right. i felt gassy, i always wanted to go to the toilet, i felt tired and fatigue. my period was late (but it’s normal for 2-3 days later on my usual cycle). i knew i had to go to drugstore and purchased the pregnancy test.

there it was…
it was positive…
i remembered myself breathing heavily and crying.
i’m telling my husband i’m pregnant (and i don’t expected to come too early).

the 1st and 2nd trimester had been the hardest days. i lost my weight (15kg) on 2 months. i couldn’t go anywhere, i lost my appetite my whole body got aching. but alhamdulillah i passed it on with Allah’s help and my husband.

as each day goes by..

this pregnancy has truly been one of the most indescribable feelings i have ever experienced. from the first positive pregnancy signal that i got on Ramadhan, from the first heartbeat sound on sonogram to the first kick on uterus, i am beyond grateful.

i have to decided to share my pregnancy with all of you when my fetus reaches its full term (37 weeks and above) and my baby is safely delivered, again i’m beyond grateful.

my husband and i are delightful welcome our first born baby boy 👶🏻. discussing (quarreling) with my husband to name the baby and we had come to a decision.
i would like to introduce you to Renjana.

review beware of pity—Stefan Zweig 😳📚

we follow Hofmiller, an Austrian lieutenant, who finds himself tangled up in the affairs of a wealthy family.

he commits a faux pas at a party by asking the daughter to dance with him, not knowing that she is actually disabled.

albeit an honest mistake, this becomes the catalyst that sends him into an emotional turmoil throughout the book.

he then embarks on a pursuit to assuage his guilt but the more he interacts with them the deeper he falls into that black hole of a family.

he is at the mercy of his emotions yet the second he’s away from them, becomes anxious about how he and his situation might be perceived by others.

in Beware of Pity, we are confronted with the fact that pity is a confoundedly two-edged business.

we witness the drastic consequences of letting pity consume us.

and acting on it without considering the responsibility we take upon ourselves and the outcome of one’s lies once reality finally catches up.

the novel forces us to question whether the pity we feel is truly selfless or simply a passing urge to act upon the strong emotions at the painful sight of someone else’s suffering.

he wrote the frustrations and depression of disability SO WELL. it did not feel like he was using this young girl as a mere plot point, rather she was the center of his point trying to be made throughout the story.

not only was his story pointed - it was simply a page turner, you knew what our leading man was going to do and yet it was a dumpster fire you simply couldn’t turn from. all with the backdrop of war on the horizon. it makes for an incredible read. by @dinimnwr
