‼️ Happy 2️⃣ years @pickleballdisciples ‼️ Pickleball Disciples core values are the 3 “LET US” statements. (See the end) what started with just a few people showing up with paddles (tennis racquet first), a desire for community, and we simply included Jesus in everything we did. None of us could’ve imagined what God would do through it. Sunday’s celebration wasn’t just a party. It was a reminder that every person has a name, a story, and a purpose. We’ve seen friendships formed, prayers answered, people encounter Jesus, people getting baptized, engaged, married and lives changed both on and off the courts. “from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ We talked about the body needs every hand, foot, eye, and arm, this community has been built by people faithfully playing their part. Some welcomed people at the courts, some prayed behind the scenes, some led conversations, some encouraged others on our WhatsApp chat, some simply showed up consistently with love and encouragement. Every one of you mattered. Community can get messy sometimes. It takes grace, patience, forgiveness, sacrifice, and effort. But through it all, I’m truly grateful for God continues shaping us together for His glory. We are not building a brand, a club, or just another social group. We are running after Jesus together. Pickleball is simply the vehicle to bring people together so His name can be known. I pray that people will continue to know us as ONE as Jesus talked about in John 17. Ministry cannot be done by one person. 1. Let us draw near to God- Draw more to God more than ever before. Practice the presence of God. 2. Let us hold searingly to the hope we profess. - hold on to the fact that He is faithful and He will hold on to his word. 3.
